I forgot why I stopped coming here. . The only thing I like about this store is that their fruits and veggies bring light into this sad place. I came here like 5 years ago, I bought pizza, red baron? Digorno? I don’t remember, anywho my friends surprised me and stopped by we use to love eating the thin pizza so I bought one, went straight home and you won’t believe it. There was mold and as soon as I opened the box the smell quickly escaped. I’ve lately been making sopa de marisco(seafood soup) on weekends and come to this 1 since it’s like 3 minutes closer than the winn dixie near 6 Ave and 49 st. Today I made the soup and I’m scarred. The crab legs taste/smell like hair dye(Ammonia)! Lord help me! I’m no longer coming back. I hate how this winn dixie only has 2 registers open @ the maximum and they don’t have self check out! I swear I’m so disgusted I can’t even stop thinking about how horrendous this place is. I will be doing the extra 3 minute drive from now on!

This Winn Dixie was the worst one in there chain. However after they remodel and updated this store, it’s my go to store. Sure they have other stores nearby, but this store is closer to my home, and by far the best one around! The staff is friendly and courtesy. I’m guessing since it’s a smaller store, it feels like a small town store. The produce is fresh and stocked. The meat department is excellent in cutting up the meats, to steaks, ground beef or whatever you have in mind. Five stars!!!

I’ve been here several times and seen the turn around that is making. This is one of the oldest store you will find in Hialeah. They have fresh fruits store looks clean but needs a face lift. about the food stamps being advertised it isn’t

Welcome to Hialeah… I stopped here to get a couple things. I feel I stepped back 20+ years, lol… The only thing modern in this store is the cash registers, lol. Fruit was fresh and the rotisserie chicken was fresh as well, although it had a «bucket» of grease in the container; not when I am used to when I typically buy the Publix chicken. Then what’s with all these«food stamps» signs on every other shelf? I never saw that before. How come you don’t see that in other Publix /Winn Dixies I’ve seen? Local demographics? Traffic? OMG, these are the same people that don’t know how to drive in Hialeah… They need something, well why not just leave all your carts in the middle of the SMALL isle and forget everyone else??? Chocolate low fat milk? Non existant! LOL, not even a spot in the shelf as if it had run out, so it looks like their customers aren’t into«low fat» items…

felt this review was one i needed to do, cause this store has done itself a great turn around. it was one of the worst kept stores where in the past i bought boxed items which were old with bugs in it… now this has been re-modeled and updated. it is a very nice, clean and organized store. set up is very consumer friendly. current manager Mercedes i believe is her name, has made it a point to bring this store up. not to steal the motto from another chain, but i do have to say, it is truly a pleasure to shop at this Winn Dixie store now!
