Worst experience ever. Ordered create your own bowl with chicken. While chewing the chicken discovered a inch long bone in the boneless chicken breast. When I complained to server she ignored me when I told the cashier she said we have boneless chicken. she just looked at me dumbfounded and made no effort to accommodate me. When I asked to speak to the manager she said he’s not here. I’ve been sending emails to corporate and have received no response. I could have been severely injured if I swallowed the bone. This place sucks. sucks.

The lady at the front desk is super mean but the food was AMAZING You know what actually I just ordered delivery and the lady was just down right mean and unhelpful. Last time I went in she seamed annoyed this time it was just mean. I think the food is amazing but seriously the worst customer service… I was gonna politely tell her that but i don’t want my food to be spit on.

Chinese in the heart of Downtown Miami’s historic CBD. Try the Singapore Style Curry Noodles — authentic!

I went to Wok Town on Tuesday and had the Curry Chicken. Unfortunately, I advise anyone who thinks this restaurant is a good idea to keep WOKKING right by. The chef needs to wok on the recipes before they will ever get me back in for lunch. If I spend $ 15 for lunch, I expect to be able to eat it. I should also mention the service behind the counter is lack luster as well. The only thing to recommend about this place is the fortune cookie. It’s about all I could stomach. Still grossed out by the little black bugs flying around in the dining area.

=Delivery only review= We had delivery here since we were still hungry after we toss out the horrible food from 3 chefs. The Chinese food here is decent. Not great but decent compared to other places around here. Mongolian Beef(spicy) — Miami does not know how to cook spicy but I am told that most people here cannot handle spicy. It was a little on the salty side but not bad. Beef and pork udon — My girl ordered with beef only as she hates pork. Somehow they mess that up and she just picked around the pork and said it was not bad and gave me the rest. It was alright. To me its not bad Chinese for Miami. They can use some improvements but its alright.

Wok Town is a great spot in Downtown that we frequent for lunch. There are lunch specials with huge portions, as well as make your own bowls with a variety of noodles, rice, protein, & veggies you can mix in. Try the fried rice box or the sweet & sour chicken for a great meal!

Have used their South Beach location several times but just moved to the Brickell area and wanted something fast and good. Food was consistent and good. I typically order the Mongolian with Brown Rice with either shrimp or chicken. I have ordered online and over the phone both with great ease and a correct order delivered by an attractive delivery guy! Do wish their was more variety.

Two stars for the Singapore noodle that I ordered today. I dish was just very salty and a bit too spicy I guess it’s because the curry powder that they might put a little too much. I only ate a few bites and couldn’t continue. The spring roll was just fine for the price $ 2.95 I might give it a try again to order their other dishes hopefully I will get something better

So weird that they charge you $ 2 for a plastic cup of tap water when you are already being overcharged for counter ordered Chinese food. Isn’t that tacky? Yes it is. Food was aight. Wonton soup was really good and surprisingly not standard. Like everything else in Downtown, parking is a god damn travesty.

I have only tried 2 or maybe 3 different dishes from their menu, but I can honestly say the food was well prepared, hence my 4 star rating. I usually stick to the coconut curry chicken and it never disappoints. Flavors are good, nothing out of the ordinary. It’s a decent lunch option for us downtown-miami 9 to 5 peeps :)

Wok Town is about as American as Chinese food can get. That’s not to say it’s bad. It’s just a very simple menu of wok fried rice, noodle and main dishes. Pick your protein, select your sauce, pay at the counter. Very chicken and meat focused, with shrimp and two vegetarian options. Nice selection of flavored iced teas, like passion fruit black tea or honey lemon ginseng green tea. You just pick and choose at the fountain and get as many refills as your heart desires. Sadly, no dim sum with shrimp filling(only meat gyoza), so I ordered the Asian slaw to start. A little sweet, but fresh and thankfully no mayo. The tofu and veg main wok with broccoli ginger sauce was tasty. Veggies were fresh, bright and crunchy and the portion was generous. The brown rice option is always nice. The tofu however, was all wrong. They use silken tofu, which I’ve never seen used in a stir fry dish. Its custardy texture just doesn’t work as it falls apart and tastes, well like tofu pudding. Save it for smoothies and get some firm tofu. Dessert options are weak. Green tea ice cream or canned lychee? Meh. Overall, you’re better off ordering from just about any real Chinese restaurant in the area. Try Hong Kong Café just around the corner instead.

Decided to try this place out after a movie the other night. Service is quick and the food is served hot. Good flavors but nothing to write home about. They do deliver so I may be hitting them up again. My husband and I ordered the following: Chicken lettuce wraps — a little different from what I was expecting, it was more of a ground meat concoction Crispy brussels sprouts — these were very fried so much so that they weren’t green anymore. quite tasty but I wouldn’t call this a healthy side Gyoza — we ordered the steam pork gyoza, lacked some flavor in the meat filling The salads looked quite appetizing so next time I’ll likely try one of those.

I wish I could say I even got the change to try their food, but unfortunately their ridiculous customer service got in the way! After placing an order online, and specifying that I was vegetarian and was replacing chicken with tofu, they STILL cooked the meal with chicken! I even called before I made the order and verified with them that I could replace it. When I called them back to have them change it, they said it was the ordering companies fault and told ME to call them! Lionel(the guy on the phone) kept defending the restaurant and how it was not their fault, yet all I kept explaining was how I understood that and felt it was not fair that I had to call the ordering company when it was a mistake made by the person telling them the order. He refused to help, and I ended up calling the ordering company and having them refund my money. Needless to say, I threw away the chicken and stayed hungry. I am waiting for a manager to call me back on this issue.

Let me star by first saying that the place is clean and they service was good, but the food lacked some flavor it seems as if they had prepared the meats in advance and they just warm it up for you as you order, I’m a believer in giving second chances so I try again and order to go and the same happened, so I won’t be going here anymore. Hope this help.

They use sub-par meats in their dishes, which is a shame, because the seasoning is decent. No free tea or delicious wok sauces can redeem rubbery, non-fresh meats(it seems as if this place used pre-cooked meats). The place is cute, clean, and the staff is attentive, but none of those positives can redeem low quality food. Like, if they were to fix that, they would easily win me over, especially since I work downtown. The sides and the veggies in the dish are all pretty good.

Something’s amiss at Wok Town. My coworkers and I popped in for lunch today, and out of the 4 of us, 3 agreed that there was something off about our food. The orange peel chicken that usually arrives with a heaping pile of crispy chicken chunks in a somewhat-spicy sauce appeared with about 8 chicken pieces, all of which were soggy and barely edible. The sauce was pretty bland and flavorless — none of the usual mix of spicy-and-sweet that usually makes this dish a winner. My coworker agreed — these tasted of freezer burn. Is that the culprit? Was this a one-off mistake? I sure hope so. Wok Town — if you changed your recipe — please, please, please change it back. In the meantime, I’ll be satisfying my craving for Chinese food elsewhere.

Must confess the only reason why I tried this place was because of a groupon but was pleasantly surprised by the service. The food was ready for take out right away and the staff was helpful in showing me everything as they put it in the bag(usually I have to be the rude person to make sure everything is there is it was nice that they assured all items). It was good Chinese food but not a standout meal. I’ve been back a few times because of the easy location which is it’s main draw for me.

First off, stick with the noodle bowl. Not that there is anything wrong with the other dishes, but you really get the best bang for your buck and most flavor out of the bowl. The place was dead when we showed up but it was also a Wednesday night one hour before closing. What took the longest was trying to decide what to get. I really wanted to order the edamame ‘your way’ but once I checked in and saw that I would be getting a free cup of soup, I realized there was no way I could eat alllll that food. So I finally decided on the Singapore style curry noodles with chicken, which was HUGE and absolutely perfect. The spice level increased as I ate which always makes my spicy-burn loving self a happy camper, plus I found the amount of chicken and veggies quite hearty and proportionate to the noodles. My free hot and sour soup was quite delectable and I have to say that I am a picky brat when it comes to my hot and sour soup. Portions are definitely sharable, especially if you are getting a soup or app to start with. They get bonus points for the free hot tea and if you want to purchase a beverage they have an interesting iced tea selection in addition to some nice Asian beers. Oh, and I LOVE that the fortune cookies are just out in a bowl for a free-for-all mad grab. I of course took like 6, because I was being conservative. It easily could have been 20.
