We have had dinner here on a few different occasions. The atmosphere and food along with the service are all top-notch and when you add the views it’s five-star all the way. From their steaks to the side dishes and desserts each and everyone of them are simply delicious.

They killed the steak, I mean they«KILED» the steak ! and if you can not do steak well in a steakhouse, why come here at all ??? If a steak does not come out right first time out of the oven, you may very well skip the main course altogether ! They didn’t get it right the 2nd or 3rd time !!!

Didn’t expect any fireworks being that I’m at a steakhouse ordering salmon for lunch. What did stand out was the amazing service of Matt. Let’s just say Matt makes em how he makes his own!

Beautiful Restauraunt, great ambiance next to the water. Delicious food, I enjoyed the Salmon, German potatoes, creamed spinach with wine and desert. The steaks looked amazing yet challenging with the healthy portions although my table was able to meet the challenge and enjoyed every bite. The service was attentive and friendly and I would definitely return when I’m Miami and recommend to family and friends.

Hands down, one of the best filet mignons I’ve ever had. It was huge on top of that, and cooked just the way I ordered it. Very flavorful as well.

After having an awful meal at another restaurant last weekend for my birthday, my wife decided to take me to my favorite steakhouse in town, Wolfgangs. I have never had a bad meal at wolfgangs. The food was as delicious as always. Unfortunately I was horribly sick for about 24 hours after eating it and didn’t sleep at all last night. Even though it was my favorite, and it still tasted great, it will be awhile before I go back after that experience. I will update this if I ever do. For what it is worth my wife did not get sick and loved her meal as well, but we are different things.

Definition of a traditional steakhouse, everything is a la carte. Wait staff obviously very friendly and professional. Old fashioned sauce is very flavorful. I ordered the porterhouse and it was amazing. The lobster Mac n cheese has plenty of lobster. Great experience.

If you show up with more than yourself, get the steak for multiple people. It’s very much worth it. Also, the thick cut bacon and the tomato onion«salad» together with the sauce they have on the table is amazing. At the end of the meal, finish it off with a Sunday(if you have room).

Precio calidad excelente.

Change steakhouse. Wasn’t expecting anything great. How i was mistaken. The steak was great. The petit fillet was tender and perfectly pink inside. The ribeye was crisp on the outside and pink on the inside. The mash was creamy smooth the onions soft and sweet and the steamed broccoli green. Service was crisp and attentive. Very nice i will return.

Normally I would give this place a 5 star. *I recommend people to read this* Today, a Sunday night in the Florida summer, we had more than enough issues. With an empty restaurant the appetizers came out incorrect and they took long. They even forgot to bring out two of the appetizers and we had to tell our waitress. Along with this the waitress forgot to bring our my uncles beer, which he finally got after 20 minutes. On the entrees, my father ordered his steak medium and it came out dark red. We told the manager and he sent it back. 5 minutes later the same piece of steak came out smaller and still dark red! On the third try, my father ate the dried up but still rare piece of meat you cannot call a steak. It was very disappointing because usually this restaurant is great! On dessert I ordered a chocolate hot fudge sundae without nuts, somehow the manager confused this because it seems he barely spoke English and I got two scoops of plain chocolate ice cream. My grandpa got a decaf cappichino and they gave him a decaf coffee. At this point we were laughing. The manager was quiet and not helpful, he did not offer fresh foods or free desserts. He rarely apologized and was overall terrible. We pretty much forced him to take off the fillet which he very reluctantly did. Awful experience.

What we ordered: The porterhouse for 2 and German potatoes Took my bf here for his bday dinner. He normally likes his steak very rare so we ordered it his way, and for me it was perfect, but cooked more like a medium rare. Either way, it was delicious. Verry verry juicy and tasty! A huge portion, which is often rare in fine dinning. The potatoes were a perfect compliment with the steaks, so full we probably didn’t even need them but delicious nonetheless. Maybe a bit too salty but it’s balanced by the sweetness of the grilled onions. My only issue was the price. Steak and 1 side was like $ 130. I think this place deserves $$$$ rather than $$$. Other than that, very good, nice staff and gorgeous views of the river.

I went to eat with my clients to celebrate their first home purchase at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. The food was amazing. The steak was fresh and hot. We also had mushrooms and the German potatoes. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and tiramisu with their homemade whipped cream. Our waiter was Dragan and he was very attentive to our order. His service was excellent. I highly recommend Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, I will be returning. The valet personnel is also amazing.

My tour of Miami steakhouses continues. Since I’m headed to NYC this week with reservations at both Peter Luger and Keens on back-to-back evenings, I decided to prep my palate at Wolfgang’s, given its Luger connection. I enjoyed my meal at Wolfgang’s. Started with some slices of the bacon appetizer, followed by Wolfgang’s salad: both were outstanding. Settled on the rib eye(medium rare) and lobster mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was also excellent, and the rib eye was good. Given Luger’s reputation as well as Wolfgang’s positive reviews, I guess I was just expecting more from the steak. It was well salted and appropriately charred, but less marbled and the meat much less tender than other dry aged rib eyes I’ve had at some of the steakhouses on Miami Beach. I spent as much attention working to chew the steak as enjoying its flavor. Ideally my focus should be entirely on the latter and hardly the former. The service was mostly competent, and not the poor service described in other reviews. I did have to request that the server refill my water glass, which would be an area of improvement. I personally might not return, given all the other steakhouse options in Miami(with more soon to come). But my dining companion did enjoy the bacon and Wolfgang salad enough to indicate a willingness to return with out of town guests. To each their own.

I have to be honest I kind of judged this place before my dad convinced me to go to dinner here just because it’s in the lobby of their building. I don’t know if it was the décor or the name, I’m not too sure. But boy was I wrong. Well, I wasn’t wrong about the décor, that is still kind of eh and old-fogy, BUT the STEAK! Yes! The steak there is so good. Usually expensive steakhouses aren’t all what they are made out to be but look past the judgements and come here and try their porterhouse steak for two, which can actually feed about 3 people if you get a salad as an appetizer. I’m rating this place 4 stars because the steak is top that I’ve had before surprisingly, but if you’re coming here because you want the most amazing overall meal, atmosphere, and service of your life, well then DON“T COMEHERE. What you’re paying for is more the really good quality and really well prepared steak.

I’m in Love with there Bacon! The service has gotten better since the last review. I have tried the steak for 4 which is a porterhouse steak so you get the filet mignon and the sirlon. We ordered it medium rare and that what we got. Cooked to perfection and tasted good. I also love their German potatoes and cream if spinach. We ordered the potatoes well done so that they have a crispy out with a tender inside. The cream of spinach is delicious. The Bacon is my Favorite item here. It’s one of the Best Bacon I have had in Miami! The bread basket also is good. Come’s with several different types of breads. My favorite is the onion bread. Small roll with minced onion inside. So Delicious. The service was fast and no wait to be seated on a Monday.

It is a difficult one, I wanted to give a 3 stars rating for the food we had, but the overall experience was horrendous and I have to give it 2 stars. We came here for Christmas dinner as this was the only reservation we could get within the walking distance from our hotel. The setting of the place is nice, but it lacked attentive service. The waiter and waitress were not rude but they were not particularly friendly either. We ordered seafood plateaux for starter, seared tuna, sea bass, catch of the day — cod and salmon for entrees. We also ordered a bottle of white wine, which was a major let down, because the wine came in room temperature and the waitress didn’t seem to think it matters at all. Then we had to send the bottle back and order wine by glass instead. The main courses were actually well done and tasty, but the French fries was very soggy. Then we ordered coffee an desert wine. First of all, the waiter took order didn’t know what brandy was when we asked him what kind of brandy they have… errrrrrrrr… Then, when coffee came, we realized that the milk came in a separate pot was gone off!!! It smells terrible and the waiter didn’t even realize. It was a huge turn off. We obviously complained and they offered to take off the coffee and some drinks off the bill. But the whole dinning experience was just appalling… especially on the Christmas Day. I feel very bad for the chef working here, as the food was actually good but the service of the restaurant totally spoiled the overall dinning experience people could have.

3 ½ stars, and going with 4 stars. Here’s the scoop: Wolfgang’s is a beautiful restaurant inside and out. The outside seating has a gorgeous water view while the inside boasts elegant chandeliers and an upscale vibe. Valet parking is $ 10 or $ 20 for VIP(up front). Corkage fee is $ 35.00. The food is delicious, expertly cooked and served, albeit simplistic. Service is professional, courteous and on-point all around. It was not hot when I went, but I also went during one of our one day«winters». I’m curious as to how steamy it gets mid July with those balcony doors opened. Crab Cake– cooked well, did not fall apart and a generous portion. Sizzling Canadian Bacon– Salty, fatty, sinful goodness Porterhouse Steak– Delicious. Served and sauced table side. Lamb Chops– Spectacular. Also served and sauced table side. German Potatoes– Very good! Creamed Spinach– OK Cheesecake– Rustic and with a great texture, just like homemade Pecan Pie– Very good and served with their signature schlag(whipped cream) This is where it gets tricky and why I think it has not been as popular as it should be in this area. Wolfgang’s is very traditional(read: old school). You won’t get mac & cheese options with creative toppings or oversized chocolate lava cakes. This is good food, done simply and to the point. Everything on the menu is predictable of a 1980’s steakhouse. They excel by actually following through and making everything that comes out of the kitchen delightful, but Miamians tends to be fickle. We want that unexpected WOW factor somewhere. DB Bistro is right across the street and Tuyo is nearby! Those are two of my absolute favorite restaurants right there and they come in at around the same price point. I am giving them 4 stars because they DO deliver on food, service and ambiance. I can see why it would not be my top choice to rush back with everything else we have going down south now. Wolfgang’s is at the 6 – 7 month mark now. I truly feel like they need to step it up just a little bit to be able to compete and stick around for a while. Just how to do that and not lose their identity? I haven’t a clue.
