I found out about this place through Unilocal!I wanted to have a Brazilian wax done for the first time. It was conveniently located near UM and the prices were inexpensive. It was super easy to find parking. I had my first wax done and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Yasmin was the girl who waxed me and she was fantastic; Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The front staff was very helpful and nice as well. The place itself was really clean and they don’t recycle their wax. I would recommend this place to my friends and I will be going back soon for my second wax!

I came in here for the first time, based on the reviews that said the prices are affordable and reasonable.
It was true, the brazillian was only almost half of what other place charges.
The place is average, nothing fancy.
The service was fast, no chit chat. She didnt seem to speak much english.
It was my first Brazilian wax so i didnt know what to expect, but after she was done, she sprinkled some baby powder on my $$ and left it there and then left me. I hope thats normal, lol.
The only reason i took off three stars was because in the front of their store, they had a board saying they give $ 10 off to UM students for the first time only, but they didnt honor it. I dont understand why a business would put out a deal to attract you, then say its not true. That sounds like a scam to me.

I come here all the time. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the wait time is usually very quick. I’m very picky about where to do my eyebrows because they’re moderately thin, and they do an excellent job every time. I also get Brazilian waxes here, and they try to make it the least painful possible. I definitely would recommend!

Wayyy better than Uni K if you ask me! I usually just go to my eyebrows and I do them with any of the girls! The girls are perfect!

I have been coming here for about 2 years now. It has never failed to be great. Anniset is the person who I trust with my eyebrows and she always does an impeccable job. She examines them and then does what she needs to do. She will always tell you the reason she is doing something too (like leaving one hair in particular to give any missing shape, etc) which is a plus. Super friendly staff and appointments are always kept on time.

Wonderskin is so affordable compared to Uni K and even faster and cleaner! They are quick and do a great job and it is surprisingly inexpensive.

Found this place though Unilocal.Very satisfied. Clean, professional and friendly staff. They use the green wax which is way better than the paper wax. Would recommended to anyone.

I will be coming back. Made an appointment about an hour before going in for the first time. That’s a plus. Easy to find, and plenty of parking since it’s in a shopping center. I got a very good first impression. Place looks new, clean, nicely decorated and the receptionist was very nice. The lady that did the waxing, was very nice, professional and fast. Her name is Anicet and from the reviews below it seems she’s been there a long time which is good. Left the last place I went to forever (South Beach Body Waxing in S. Miami) because it was like a revolving door with the ladies who worked there.
As with most other places take cash for tipping.

I decided to try this place out on a whim after my usual waxing place was full. I walked in for a half leg wax and eyebrows. The super nice girl in the front helped me out and set me up with Anicet who was the holy mother of eyebrows because she fixed mine. Mine were ruined by another waxing location and I hadn’t let anyone touch them in ages. She was great and gave them back their shape. After that I was set up with Ana who was great. She exfoliated my legs for me and waxed away with the cool european green wax. The wax is practically painless in my opinion. She chatted away with me which i love because silence makes me feel super awkward. After I was all done I payed and was on my way. The prices are super affordable and the place is clean with great staff. This is my new waxing go to.

Great, convenient location to stop in when you need a quick touch up. You don’t really need an appointment, the wait usually isn’t very long and the staff does a great job. They don’t use strips, and I must say it is a less painful than average wax. Prices are very reasonable, and everything looks very clean. Yay, I’m a fan!

Back in SF, one wouldn’t even question the thought of paying $ 60+ for a bikini wax. There, the exorbitant price was simply standard. So when I moved back to Miami, seeking to obtain the unmentionable service, I prepared myself to pay, well, somewhere upwards of $ 40.
You should know that if you’re just looking for a quickie (that beach trip came much sooner than expected) and you don’t wanna break the bank, this place’ll do the trick. For $ 27 (including tip), Lucia ripped away.
I was in an out within 10 minutes (this is unheard of) and while there wasn’t any bedside banter between she and I, I was left pretty flabbergasted at her efficiency, speed and the general painlessness of the whole procedure.
What’s even better, they use the hard green wax, so you won’t have to worry about going through layers of skin-​removal pain. Sounds horrible? I know, any chica out there who’s ever had a bikini wax understands the pain.
If you’re in search of a serene spa-​like experience, this isn’t it, but this place is inexpensive (as in very very much so), they’re quick, it’s clean (lots of white and hints of orange furniture), walk-​ins are totally cool, there’s plenty of parking (it’s in a strip mall), you can tip on your card, and their wax doesn’t hurt!

I had only had a bikini wax once before and it was awful. I was so nervous to go again and I came to wonderskin preparing for the worst. I couldn’t believe it, but I didn’t even flinch! It was barely a pinch and they did a very good job. They don’t use strips so it doesn’t hurt as much with the wax that hardens and she pulls the wax. I was in awe. I highy recommend this place and will be going there forever!

I have been coming to Wonderskin for over 5 years. The place is always super clean and the employees are very nice. I have been seeing Anicet forever and she is hands down the best. I will never trust any one else with my eyebrows!

my cousin has been raving about this place, and ani in particular, forever. this morning i finally decided to check them out and am so glad i did. i found my new waxing home.
its super chic, all bright and bubbly with white drapery and orange accents! it is spotless clean which i find to be most important. its also pretty big, i believe 6 rooms.
i was in and out in less than 15 minutes, that includes filling out the new client sheet and payment (which btw prices are super affordable and they have packages and specials on certain days of the week)
the actual room was small but cozy, huge mirror on one wall and the bed which was double wrapped in soft paper for that extra clean feel. there is a big fan pointed right at you for instant cooling.
ani was super nice and pleasant, made me feel comfortable while we had small talk and she is really good, literally minimal pain/​discomfort.
i shouldve listened to my cousin long time ago.
