I recently bought a groupon ($ 89) for the service of 4 vitamin B12 injection with a physical examination by a physician and supervised diet plan. The only thing that actually happened was the shots that were administered to me by a technician weekly for 4 weeks.
When the doctor came in to give me a «physical examination» he spent 10 minutes explaining to me that I need to be on a 1,200 calorie diet. He quickly glanced over my medical history and did not ask me any questions about my exercise patterns or eating patterns. No physical examination was given. My blood pressure had been taken previously by the technician as well as my weight. Being a nurse myself, I know the several parameters of an actual «physical examination» none of which this physician actually accomplished. The physician himself did not speak to me about my weight, my goals or anything related to my visit. That was the last and final time I saw the physician. I left with 2 hand-​outs explaining the diet and shots. Useless. I did not receive any measurements including BMI which is vital to any weight loss program. Following that visit, there was no «supervision of the diet plan» meaning that the upcoming visits would only consist of me getting the shot and leaving.
On the following visits, which only took 10 minutes maximum each time, the technician gave me the shot, took my weight and told me to schedule an appointment for the following week. The physician did not supervise my weight loss, nor did he supervise my diet plan.
On the last day of my visit, I wanted to take home with me another months worth of Phentermine tablets (which the office says clearly on the groupon that I could purchase for an additional price) but they did not allow me to. They wanted me to pay another $ 50 to be «seen by the doctor» and another $ 85 for the pills. I said no, and I left.
Aside from the fact that I did not experience any weight loss with the vitamin B12 shots, Phentermine pills, and 1,200 calorie diet, the company and service was extremely horrible. Do not waste your time visiting this doctor or this facility. You are better off researching all the information yourself on google. I will never visit this facility again nor do I recommend anyone visit it either.
