Worst customer service. EVER. I tried to order over the phone & when she told me my grand total for delivery I was questioning how much everything was because it didn’t sound right. Eventually, she started to get annoyed with me and told me to hold on bc other phones were ringing. She then hung up & I called back asking what had happened and she arguably said«I’m busy» and I told her it’s not right to hang up on a customer and she then hung up on me, AGAIN. These people suck.

TERRIBLECHINESEPLACETOEAT!!! BEWARE!!! My grandmother ordered a wonton soup from this place and once she opened the container she immediately threw up in her mouth. She orders wonton soup all the time from different places and never has she come across this one. The smell was unbearable, it smelled as though there was an infestation inside the container. She tried to return it, but they refused saying that there was nothing wrong with it. Never buy from this place, unless you want to risk your health.

Wong’s Shanghai is more American Chinese food than authentic, so keep that in mind. It is good food, and they give you a very large portion, so that makes the price easier to accept. The service was good, and the atmosphere is nice for this style of eating. Will go again if I want American Chinese food.

Yet another American style Chinese joint with sit down area. The Chinese style slants towards northern which is to say you’d be better off with noodle dishes than rice dishes.

What can I tell you, it is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, great for take-out for the morning after you’ve been drinking and you need to kill the tremors that come with the hangover? The food is nothing to rave about, but it is tasty Chinese food in a hurry. Keep your expectations low, as far as service or the looks of the place… just concentrate on how the food will magically ease you into the land of the living, and don’t look around too much. I usually order the special fried rice, and no, I don’t ask what’s in it… it just tastes good, and I’ve never gotten sick or sicker than I already was. Their b-bq ribs are decent… I was surprised they were actually falling off of the bone. I usually order a small wonton soup, but I didn’t feel the love this time around — it was a bit too salty. Overall, I give it 3 stars… prices are fair, and they are consistent in their dishes, plus, I really love the mystery special fried rice, served with a helping of stank eye from the little old lady at the register… I really want to hug her! I’ll keep going back; one day she will crack a smile at me. P. S. You can only pay with a credit card is your order is over $ 10.00.

Definitely for sure one of, if not the best Chinese restaurants in North Miami. Fast friendly delivery, delicious food, large portions and fantastic prices. The Kung Pao Shrimp is highly recommended, the General Cheng’s Sesame Chicken is wonderful. This place will be my go-to for Chinese delivery from now on.

Horrible food even on Christmas day. Start with a decent bowl of egg drop soup followed by what it looked like chicken with onion and Napa cabbage(it was supposed to be chop suey) and to finish with a worst plate… 9 shrimps drowned in what was supposed to be lobster sauce but it was a tasteless glue like substance. I WILLNEVEREATORRECOMMENDTOANYONE.

So I always end up having some kind of craving for Chinese food. always, so bad for me so good for the restaurants lol Called in for take out & the employee was super friendly & nice. Once I got there and went inside is like this china town kind of atmosphere but the restaurant was empty.hmmp. I will say its due to the time I arrived. The food was deliciouss with that being said, I will def. be going back. Specially because its literally like 4 block from my job! can’t give it 5 because I’ve only been there once but I gave it more than 3 bc it exceeded my expectations.

Back in the day, Wong’s used to be pretty decent American-style Chinese food. I haven’t been back in years and recently decided to stop in for dinner. Wonton soup was super salty and made with frozen wontons — meh. The beef with vegetables was just gross, a thick gelatinous sauce, too many onions, overcooked meat and doused in MSG; pork fried rice so greasy it slid down my throat; shrimp lo mein, salt fest. Service was very bad, practically had to beg for water(and we needed a lot of it because the food was so salty). Not the worst Chinese food in Miami, but definitely not worth a second(or first) visit.

Passed by the restaurant and decided to stop for a quick Chinese dinner, in both times doing so the old lady who is the owner seems to have a bad attitude and to say the least poor table manners. As we sat down and order from the last page on the menu she soon realized the bill wasn’t going to be in the 100′ scale and got nasty with us… She even FARTEDNEARUSTWICE, PLAYEDOFFASIFNOTHING… SHEWASNASTY. The daughter had these two little brats running around like two chicken without heads and playing on their iPads. The food was bad, I know she was really upset by us ordering inexpensive and got NASTY. It felt she poisoned our food or treated us like shit. We didn’t set the price on the menu, WEJUSTORDERED. I love Wong’s! This is my go-to Chinese take-out place in North Miami. The food is always great and the portions are huge. I usually order from the dinner combo as it comes with fried rice, soup and egg rolls(plus the entrée). No dish stands out in particular, it’s all typical Chinese food that one would get at any Chinese restaurant.

I’ll start with what I love about Wong’s. It’s always quiet. I walk in and feel like I’m in an unknown little place in Chinatown. It reminds me of going to Canton in the Gables as a kid because they bring hot tea to the table without ordering it. A lot of places don’t do this anymore. Their egg rolls are pretty good, and the prices are good for the portions. Service is fast and the orders come out correct and hot. It’s conveniently located near Johnson & Wales, and with all the new campus housing around there, I’m sure this place is becoming even more popular for delivery. All great things about Wongs. The downside is that most menu items are hit or miss on taste. We had lo mein in the restaurant twice and take out 3 or 4 times. Take out was great. Dining in, not so much. The flavor was off and the noodles had a soggy, gummy texture. Hard to describe, but not good. We’ve had a few other things(soups, appetizers, rice, chicken/pork dishes) and all of it was mediocre. The egg rolls were only things that have been consistently good(dining in and take out). There aren’t tons of choices for good takeout Chinese food around here. Bamboo Garden down the street has better food, and because of that, the prices are a little higher. I go back and forth between the two.

I went here numerous times during my one year stay in North Miami. Their prices are fairly priced for the amount of food you get. You basically get two meals worth with their lunch/dinner combo so I would always share or save half for another meal. Call ahead so you won’t have to wait 10 minutes for them to prepare your dish. Careful though, its HOT. They make it fresh for each order with plenty of mouth-watering sauce. The hot and sour soup is highly recommended and their fried wings aren’t greasy either. Definitely a satisfying meal for two at less than $ 10.
