If you’re hung over and broke you come to eat at this place. Nicaraguan food is normally very good. This place is about volume with ok taste and most of all, cheap. If you are out on a date and you are on McDonald’s type budget and you don’t want to drive through a fast food window I suggest that you consider Yambo for all you culinary needs.

This is the sort of place you don’t take tourist but you go eat because its cheap, it taste good and its open at all hours of the night. They have parking right up front. Ive eaten both inside and outside and would say that inside is more restaurant with the same cheap prices, and outside is more just to pick up and go in a hurry. Get ready, their music and decoration inside is hilarious and stuck in the 80’s. They loose a star for the«only cash» situation. I never have cash and I hate using those atms that I feel somebody is gonna steal my card number. I recommend their gallo pinto and their selection of fresh juices. They sell beer.

Awesome good food. The slice of cheese was really good too. Not many English speaking people but we found someone to help us out. Really good food.

Great food but the late night staff has Downes syndrome or rabies. Crossed eyes and mustaches seems to be the dress code. Drink girl was super nice and normal with an upbeat attitude. I love this place

Oh boy, I was glad my mother stayed in the car when we landed in Little Havana at Yambo in search of good food. I pretty much stood there with my mouth open, completely confused and overwhelmed with the smells of food and the décor. I definitely asked for the English Menu which was all in Spanish anyway and started the finger-pointing. We ordered a stewed beef/yam/plantain dish along with some steak dish. We also got the fried cheese and plantain chips. I seriously have no idea what we ordered but the food came out with some fresh coleslaw in little baggies, and we DEVOURED our meals. It was delicious, filling, and so tasty. This was my first time having Nicaraguan food and for a moment, I thought I was back in Taiwan eating the street food. The method is the same, the noises are similar, and the food although from different countries, gave me similar experiences.

Delicious. Delicious… if it isn’t pinolandia it’s here. Their empanadas are uh… delicious, I rarely ever eat empanadas but I’d eat them from here. Their salsa is also yummy. If there were places like this in Seattle I would have a heart attack. Coming back home to Miami, this is a must go to place.

The queso frito was on point. I won’t hate on the cheese. I was really looking forward to trying this place. Honestly, I’ve had better fritanga. They had a limited menu when I went and the Gallo pinto was over cooked. I guess it’s cool they’re open late.

Expected to be blown away by this place based on the reviews, but can’t say that was the case. Pretty much like any other fritanga place in Miami. I’ll say that the carne asada was seasoned pretty well. And I’m not sure what kind of fritanga place runs out of picante, but this place did.

It was my first experience with Latin American cuisine and even though the servers didn’t know English, the were very helpful and accommodating. Food was good. Chicken Tacos was our favorite!

Love this place and the prices! Got a gallo pinto, queso frito and maduros for just 4 bucks. The servings are good for 2. The frescos are like 1.50. Pretty much got a meal for 2 for 7 bucks and it was super good. Cant beat that and its open 24⁄7!!! No credit cards accepted though. Bring cash.

Our server didn’t really know what to do about vegetarians. But with a little bit of knowledge on Nicaraguan food you can easily navigate around that. We ended up getting gallo pinto with fried cheese, ensalada de repollo, and maduros for just over $ 4 a plate. The décor is a little cluttered but comfortable and fun to explore while waiting for your food.

This was the worse place ever!!! I went there to eat with my family The café con leche was hot milk I asked for water for my son they said they had no water What kind of restaurant doesn’t have water! I asked for chimichurri for the steak didn’t have Asked for juice for my child didn’t have Doesn’t accept credit card By far the worse experience and biggest waste of money Don’t recommend to anyone!!! I don’t know how they have been open since ‘83 Waited 15 minutes for my suppose to be coffee Horrible horrible horrible To top it off the prices in the menu are not right once you eat they say everything is double the price I rate 0 stars!!!

Wow this is the 3rd time coming here for food in less than a month! That is how much I love this place. It is fairly impossible to find 8 dollar food coming at this potion near Brickell. I absolutely love the beef tongue here! It tastes so tender and the sweet and sour flavor is just about right. And don’t worry it looks nothing like a tongue, look just like a piece of normal meat. Also the bean and beans are delicious too. They will also give you a little bag of fresh vegetable salad which is really fresh and perfect for the hot weather. But remember to bring cash, no credit card accepted. I don’t want to say more, just see my photo, it says it all.

I didn’t eat here, and never will because the food looked terribly fat, badly prepared., But why the 3 stars still?: — 24 hour opening, which still amazes me in the U.S., there were 2 hands full of people dining here at 2 Am. — The most nicest about this place is the set up and decoration. It feels really you’re stepping into another country when you get in. Besides that, I have to say that this place it not really good. I don’t want to be rude against fat people but all the ladies working here had 3 times the weight they were suppose to have(says something about the food right?). I tried to ask what everything was, but there was not menu whatsoever. Just fried fish and pork sitting there behind a third world deli glass. The ladies working here weren’t friendly and helping at all. All the locals were cutting in front of me which made me question why the hell I came here. Finally after making a choice, I was confronted with the fact that they didn’t accept card, but they had a ATM inside. Well, ok I went inside and tried doing an ATM transaction at this mobile ATM. It took my $ 20, without giving me my $ 20. If you’re latino, you will feel really home here because of their amazing atmosphere and food from back home. But I just think it is not clean and representative at this place specifically. If they improve quality of food and workers it would bump up easily to a 5star. So… I ended up driving to McDonalds to still my hunger. TERRIFIC!

I have been coming here since I was 5 years old! My parents are Nicaraguan and every time someone asks me to explain Nicaraguan cuisine I’m at a loss for words. It’s delicious food and no not all central American food is the same. I love the tacos, enchiladas, Nacatamales(they’re didn’t from Mexican tamales) and carne asada. All of these are great choices and they’re big, satisfying dishes! To drink I opt for the red soda Milca or Cacao. The place will definitely give you the colorfully spirited Nicaraguan culture. Buen provecho!

This place is absolutely incredible — you can taste the authenticity of the food in every bite! Although it’s a bit difficult to order if you don’t speak Spanish, the food is displayed at the front counter, so you can just point at what you want. The restaurant is very casual and has a fun little patio that you can eat at(otherwise you can easily take your food to go). Overall, the perfect place to go if you’re looking for some authentic Nicaraguan food. But make sure you bring your appetite because the portions are massive!

Ummm what can I say? The food is ok, the service is bleh, they rush you to pick whatever you want to eat, this lady was rushing me and yelling at me, did not appreciate that at all. To be completely honest I think I rather wait in line at Pinolandia, I think the food is better and it looks cleaner also. One thing I really liked was the natural juices they have(on the sugary side) but good overall. It’s not my first choice for Nicaraguan food.
