The counter people seem to be friendly, but they also appear poorly trained and inefficient. I don’t know if it’s a lack of management over site or inadequate customer interface procedures. On Saturday mornings there are often long lines at the counter with many people leaving. A company can spend millions on marketing and advertising promotion, but if service suffers at the counter, it all goes to waste. On the positive side, the food is excellent and priced reasonably.

Slowest Tim Hortons EVER… Drive thru was slow so I decided to go inside. Inside was not any better. Coworkers(nametag read Jennifer) blamed others for incorrect orders, they were unable to work together, and there were 2 people waiting on 1 customer at a time even though another register was on and could gave been utilized. If you have time to sit the extra periods, then this Pee Wee location might be for you. Fortunately, the coffee was good and hot(and correct) when I did receive my order!

I visit here at least once a week. Great place to meet a friend and have a long talk and a good cup of coffee. There is hardly ever more than 4 or 5 people in there but you never get bad coffee.

Tim Hortons is another restaurant that I love, so I am very picky about my service here. I am a very devoted Tim Hortons customer. I’ll start with the«pros.» — This location is still open 24 hours. That is a huge plus, because the number of such Tim Hortons in Dayton has been slowly declining. If you’re a night owl or if you have to go to work super-early in the morning(like I do sometimes), this is an option. — It has a great location: right along 725, just a block away from the I-75 junction, and right next door to a Super 8 motel. Very convenient no matter where you are going. — As always, Tim Hortons has delicious pastries and coffee. That’s always the best part of visiting ANY Tim Hortons, but it always bears repeating. Now for the«cons» of this location. — Inconsistent service. Some days I get through the line very fast, other days I feel like I’m waiting for days just for a bagel and coffee. — If you want an itemized receipt(not the credit card print-out), you have to specifically ask for it. This is very annoying. — On more than one occasion, I’ve ordered a large iced coffee and when I went to take a drink, it was so over-full that I’ve spilled it all over my shirt. Then I had to go to work with coffee all over me. Not cool, guys. Not cool. — Some of the drive-thru employees are a bit too chatty for my taste. While I applaud their effort to be friendly, I am the type of person who just wants to pick up my coffee, pay, and leave with minimum conversation. Especially in the morning when I’m not yet caffeinated and it’s already a struggle to be pleasant. I realize that for some of you this isn’t a big deal, but to me, it is. Please just give me my coffee and let me go. A friendly smile is enough.

Note this. 5 star review. 5 stars… I don’t give them often. This place has it flaws. every place does. But it makes up for them in good food and good prices. These 2 things can generally outweight average service. The service here can be good or great depending on the minute. I ate here 3 out of 4 days in town and always enjoy it. I almost always get a Sausage and Cheese on a honey wheat bagel with a whole wheat blueberry muffin. It’s great food! 2 of the 3 days the service was great and same as ordered, quickly. The third day we went thru the drive through and they were a little confused due to a large order. It took a little longer than normal, but got out and we were amused by the Manager(and owner) while we waiting at the window. This included him tossing Tim Bits at our dog in the back seat and other banter. If Tim Horton’s expands more into the rest of the US, they could rival Dunkin Donuts for a share of the breakfast market… Always a winner with me.
