I’m all about supporting local business. But, every time I go into this store, the owner (I’m sure he is) tends to be very rude. Makes me feel as if I’m bugging him, just by being there. Never a simple «Hello», had my debit card tossed at me (during my purchase) and not once has he ever offered to bag items I’ve bought. Oh, wait he did today. He asked, «are you going to want a bag?». After coming home, I mentioned my experience to my husband. His response was, «that’s why I hate going there».
My advice to the owner is, go above and beyond for your customers. Plus, treat others as you would like to be treated.
I do love the convenience of this store, since I am a life long beach area resident… Hence the one Star.

This area was in dire need for this store!!! The closest hardware or home store in this area is a 10 mile drive to the other end of town! So, if you live in Long Beach, or anywhere along Hwy 12 and are working on your house you need to stop by this store because they most likely will have what you need! And you know what its like when you start a project and go to the store to get supplies, and then get back home and realize you forgot something or got the wrong thing… this store is so close you don’t have to waste your whole day driving back and forth to the other end of town!!!
It is a family owned business, they opened a year ago and have added a lot of stuff!!! They are a full service hardware store, but they also are a home improvement store as well… they sell carpet, hard surface flooring, everything for kitchens and baths too!!! I would much rather give my money to a local family run business than any big box store!!!
