Randomly found this Mexican restaurant + supermarket after shopping at the outlets. REALLYGOODTACOS! Totally agree that it’s a hidden gem. Shrimp, lengua, and chicken tacos were amazing. The owners were really nice and provided good service. This town is sort of deserted though, our table of 4 girls were the ony one who dined in on a Sunday afternoon. Recommend it as a great after shopping meal for everyone who passes through.

I wanted tacos so I went to this place. I’d been here once before and had a huge steak burrito. I thought it was pretty good. Filling. They bring you 2 kinds of salsa, a roasted-red looking one and a green(verde) salsa. Both are excellent. The chips are sturdy and cooked to a nice bronze finish. The were out of pork, so I got the lengua tacos. They come with onion and cilantro; I’m cool with that. you can order cheese and lettuce extra. Ambiance is kind of lacking, but I sort of like that about this place.

Overall, just okay. Chile relleno had no sauce, tacos were fine but the chorizo and pork tacos were dry and in desperate need of salsa. I enjoyed the tienda and candy assortment next to the restaurant, but other than that, I don’t think I’m coming back. Sorry!

Hidden Gem! I have been going here for years. Years ago, a friend of mine had a cooler at the beach and started pulling out these killer tacos handing them out. They were individually wrapped and GOOD! I found out that he pre orders them from this grocery store and that was the begining of my relationship with this store. Since that time, the store has moved once and recently has swapped ownership. Nothing has changed at the food end though. I have YET to eat in their dining room and I can’t say much for the sundries and supplies they sell. I was intrigued with an aresol can that had a picture of Jesus on the label but don’t read Spanish so I can’t tell you what it was. What I usually do for a party is call a couple days in advance and order 50 tamales and 50 tacos or something along those lines. If my memory serves me correctly, it’s $ 2 per taco and $ 1 per tamale.

The best tamales I’ve ever eaten. Everyone I know who has eaten them agrees. The chile rellenos, guacamole and salsa verde are also outstanding. Please do not forget the crema, which is legendary.
