We had a nice meal here on a night that was just a little too windy to sit outside(unfortunately!). The view from the dining room is nice as well so no complaints. We had great mixed drinks and the wine list was small but reasonable, the food was good– I had a nicely cooked filet that was rare as ordered. This place will be a blast in the summer but I’m also looking forward to looking out over the ice in a few months. The bridge work makes it hard to find as the detour isn’t well marked so plan ahead.

Tried this restaurant yesterday and was pretty disappointed. While the actual restaurant was nice and the staff very friendly, the food was sooooo greasy. My husband and I had the sautéed Lake Perch which came out sitting in grease. I had to actually blot each piece on my napkin before I ate it. My daughter had the Mac and cheese which was also greasy. Pretty expensive also for what you got. Due to the number of restaurants in the area, probably will not return.

Was really excited to eat here based on the reviews. The food was great. Pricey, but great. But sat in the chair on the patio into a huge spider web… it’d been there for awhile. Obviously the chairs aren’t cleaned. Only one waitress working during dinner. So we received app, meal, salad at the same time. Ordered chocolate milk — had to ask twice for it — and then opened it after child complained it wasn’t chocolate. Apparently they squeezed all that was left in the chocolate can in there. You couldn’t even tell. When I asked, didn’t really even receive an apology, just a shrugging of shoulders. Great food and would have been 4 or 5 stars without all the other stuff. Probably wouldn’t go again just because I didn’t get the relaxing lakefront experience I was hoping for.

I was shopping at the outlet mall and we wanted dinner so we decided to give this place a try. The server was excellent and very friendly. I asked for recommendations and she mentioned the walleye and so we both ordered it — I had the breaded and he has the blackened. It came with two sides and the price was $ 17.95. The food came out and the size of the fish and the meal was very small for the price. It was good but not great. After the meal the owner came to the table and asked how things were — he was extremely nice and even offered a sample of his mother’s recipe of baklava which was very good. I would like to give it another try.

This place is awesome! Locations a bit off the beaten path but that’s a good thing. They’ve got an AMAZING waterfront view, bartenders treat you like a local and it seriously has a great vibe. It’s got a huge deck when the weathers right or a great bar during football season. Food is fantastic don’t pass up the BLACKENEDWALLEYE! De frigginglicious! They’ve got great game day specials and it seriously feels like cheers. I don’t post much but when it’s awesome I gotta spread the word.

We were on our way home from Chicago and I called this place to see if they’re open, being that this was on Labor Day. Ryan, who would eventually be our bartender, informed us they would be closing at 5 and when I mentioned we would be cutting it close he said to still come in. I hate rolling in ten minutes to close, but being that we live 4 hours away and I really wanted to eat here I risked it and I’m thankful we did. Ryan was nothing but friendly and accommodating and reassured us multiple times that we were not impinging, that he would be there for a while yet anyway. We ordered ASAP. Our food was delicious. The Bloody Mary is house made and one of the best I’ve ever had. That was worth the trip alone. But what stood out most is the service. Friendly and genuine. The owner was there and clearly she sets the bar(that her entire staff lives up to). If you’re going to try to pick out a restaurant in this area go here. It’s a gem, I promise.

Sunday Brunch was very poor. The biscuits and gravy were cold by the time you get to the table. The milk was warm. The owner was confrontational when we complained about the food. The salmon was good but it was taken out of a package.

My first experience was excellent! Went in for an appetizer and a cocktail with a friend. We had the shrimp poppers(the name doesn’t gratify this at all), it was more like pablano peppers filled with shrimp n bacon n cheeeezyyy goodness! Amazing! Also tried the crab cake(I’m picky about these) it was fantastic! Atmosphere is beautiful. I cannot wait to try more food! The owner was very friendly. I came for the food but stayed for the company and coziness :)

Service was poor. Food was mediocre. Seems like it could be a great location if they had the right people running it. Management didn’t seem to care about any concerns.

Solid location. Great menu. Well priced. Nice patio. Good energy. Casual fun. Clean. If you’re seeking laid back and welcome to families, then go here. Sits along the river.

I can’t even begin to list all the things that went wrong. First we sat there waiting forever for menus and to be greeted then it took forever for our drinks. We order a calamari with no green olives of course it came with the green olives(the calamari was actually pretty good!) came with no silverware or plates so we had to ask for some. Comes back with a dirty knife. Still waiting for our main dishes. Get another round of drinks. My drink is made wrong! Finally get the right drink but stilllll waiting for our main dish. Food finally comes out and it already doesn’t look appetizing. Both meals were so bad my boyfriend and I couldn’t even finish them. The waiter even asked if I liked it, I told him no and he still didn’t ask if I wanted something different. He told me I should have went with his original suggestion! My boyfriend and I are both in the serving industry so by the end of this we wanted to run out of here. One of the few times we’ve ever left 10% tip. Nice guy but man work on your serving skills!

I have enjoyed every meal I have had. They are still working out some of the bugs. The buffalo chicken wrap has blue cheese which I thought was interesting.

This place is so cute. The patio is shady and very nice. The brunch menu is delish… we had the white fish omelette and classic eggs Benedict, and the cucumber Bloody Mary was the bomb. Great service too.

Finally a really good restaurant on the lake where the Michigan City Yacht Club used to be. Casual, beachy décor, a large deck to eat outside if you want to, great staff, and excellent food. I loved the garlic Parmesan wings, the homemade macaroni and cheese, and the key lime pie. I bake from scratch, so I NEVER think restaurant desserts are any good, but this pie was delicious. I understand that they will also be opening an ice cream parlor and souvenir shop in the same building. A great place to eat!
