Look. If you’re going to Panda Express, your expectations should be incredibly minimal. The ultimate test is whether the food tastes like plastic. Really, just ask for a sample taste as they typically allow. And if it tastes like plastic, then move on. The staff seemed fairly disorganized, and it was a bit confusing on where to line up as customers started to form up around the food. While their pricing is attractive, you should know that the food’s been out for a bit, not rotated or anything along the the lines of practice in which places like Chipotle would follow. So beware. Open food, warm, incubating who knows what. The chicken and beef, in their many forms taste all right. Their chow mein noodles are a bit thin than what I’m used to, but it’s passable. Barely. Wontons? Oily, incredibly hard, won’t be edible if you don’t eat them up right away. And that in itself is a hard task to accomplish. Unfortunately, there are worse places than this throughout Michigan City.

When this place opened I was very skeptical about eating here because I’ve eaten at some of the others in the are and they are horrible. But ever since my first visit here, the food has been amazing. It’s always freshly cooked and steaming when placed on my plate the chow mein is cooked to perfection l, and everything is so good. One downside is if it’s busy you will be waiting a while but once you get past that it’s worth the wait.

First time here. I had the orange chicken and chicken egg roll, which were good. The fried rice was good. Tried the teriyaki chicken which I didn’t like. Service was fast and the people behind the counter were friendly. Oh, they hadn’t made any soup, they’d get to it later. Unacceptable.

This stuff is crap. I only agreed to eat this stuff for lunch as I was a guest and the group I was with suggested it. I ordered the chicken wontons and the broccoli beef bowl. The broccoli was mushy, obviously frozen broccoli thawed and stir fried. The beef tasted like fish, and they stopped serving the chicken won-tons. Even for fake Chinese, this is bad as it gets. You’d be better off ordering from some hole in the wall than from this fast food place.

I go to Panda Express occasionally and it has always been pretty good. But a couple day ago, i was disappointed. The veg rolls were overcooked and extremely salty and my favorite chow mein actually had no flavor. It was quite a disappointment. Well, at least my server was very nice and polite.

Service was fast and friendly, typical Panda Express entrees and pricing. On this particular visit chow mein was undercooked and egg role was over cooked, but everything else was as expected.

This location was very disappointing to say the least, first thing in the morning and almost half of the food plates were empty so i didn’t have much of a choice. Also, the sign saying that the chicken teriyaki machine is broken has been there for weeks, come management Fix It. The noodles also felt like they were from yesterday left over, very dry. The worst $ 10 spent ever, more like thrown away

Went here to get something for dinner togo early evening. Restaurant was empty there’s one table occupied. Employees seemed busy tho. No one even greet us and they seem like they’re not enjoying their jobs. So I started ordering couple of dinner and when I get to my last order they put half of the chow mein they usually put in every Panda Express Ive ever went at and I went on a lot. So I ask the one who’s helping me politely if I can have a little bit more chow mein. And she look at me with a disgusted look and look at the food and said«No this is our regular serving.» And with her cold look she ask me whats next on my order. This experience ruined my perception about Panda Express. I would never go back to any Panda Express anymore and will not recommend it to anyone. I can just go to independent Chinese restaurant, which are everywhere, where I get more authentic food, bigger portion and for the same price or even cheaper.
