Once we got in, this place was great! I’m knocking off three stars for our experience getting into the club/bouncers, the overall atmosphere and the price. PROS: — Great music on Saturday night! — Huge bathrooms — Quick bartenders CONS: — SOEXPENSIVE! — asshole bouncers — So/so atmosphere Getting into the club was ridiculous. They let both me and my female friend in, but suddenly stopped the line at my boyfriend. We told the bouncer that we were with him, but were told that we had go inside and that he definitely was going in. So we wait in the lobby for a few minutes, get a text from him saying«they won’t let me in, don’t pay.» Why won’t they let him? He was wearing sneakers. Mind you, the bouncers, the staff, and the people smoking outside were wearing sneakers. They were also airforce ones… So classy. Oh, and their website says NOTHING about a dress code. My friend and I walk out, we argue with one of the bouncers for a bit, I tell them we should just leave, and magically, they let us in? Ok? We walk in again, and there are no female friskers. Like, I get security, but I’m not always into getting felt up by a random dude. Whatever. Pay our cover… It’s $ 5 more than what they say on their website. So, $ 25 to get in. Not going to argue at this point, keep on going in. Then, $ 4 coat check. Ouch. Alright. I get to the bar and get a drink almost instantly! Fast, fast service. The price is $ 10 for a shot. Ugh, it’s Boston, so I let it go. The music was great! Loving the Liquid Saturday Night DJ. The bathrooms were huge. Plenty of space to dance. The people there weren’t really dancing at first, but towards the end of the night, they warmed up. They seemed«too cool to dance». Definitely had a few«mean girls», if you will. Ladies, if you wear heels at the club, somebody is going to accidentally step on your toes if they’re drunk. No reason to push! I don’t think I will be returning. Such a shame, because the music was fantastic!

The people and the atmosphere were just very low class. The women were dressed in tattered clothing, and the men had pants falling at their knees, just very distasteful. Disrespectful club goers were not respecting our vip space. People were blowing smoking in our faces and when asked to stop they said no and persisted. We didn’t get the things that were included in our package and there was a lack of service. If you’re looking for a low scale, ghetto function, this is it. Will never be coming here again.

I love going here for Pachanga but the staff here is super rude. The bouncers are unnecessarily rude and the coat check people are unreasonable. They are raised the prices. It’s $ 25 to get in, then another $ 5 for coats and then $ 12 for a small mixed drink. It’s a nice place but honestly both worth the price or the rude staff. Especially since it’s so costly they should at least be nice to guests

Pros– venue is nice, big area in the back for dancing; bathrooms were cleaner than I thought it would be; no cover when I went about a week ago; head of security is a friendly guy, nice to talk to and bought my friend and me a drink; the security is on point– they were on top of preventing fights and caught a dude trying to put a roofie into a girl’s drink Cons– drinks are WAY overpriced($ 10 for a 6 oz house vodka/pineapple); I went there on a Saturday which is supposed to be their hip hop night– the first dj was good, I was not a fan of the second dj– he was playing hip hop to techno beats which I did not expect or like

This is the WORST night club of all times. There’s no justice. We had one grey goose and one magnum champagne for the night, however, the bottle girl charged us one grey goose and two magnum champagnes. The bottle girl claimed that one of the guys at the table opened the first table and she only opened the second table. When I asked for the evidence for our consumption of two bottles of champagnes, the girl waited for 10 minutes and then showed up with two empty champagne bottles. I’ve been clubbing all over the world in NY, Miami, London, HK and Sydney and I’ve always remembered how much alcohol that the table has consumed. In all honesty, I didn’t care much to pay the extra few hundred bucks, but I think it’s very unethical and unjust for a bottle girl to get away with her wrongdoings.

This place is just OK. If you have nothing else to do on a Friday night you could go here but I wouldn’t make it your first choice. Just make sure you are already drunk because the drinks are super weak!

Went here tonight(Saturday) for a friend’s bday bash and had a blast! The music was great, rap, hip hop, and some Spanish music here and there. Had a great crowd of black ppl too!

I’ve been Bartending for 5 years, and usually cut a break for Bartenders when I’m out, given that I understand the ins-and-outs of the job. I can’t do that for the Bartender I encountered at Naga. Went there for a DJ I love, was ignored at the end of the bar for 42 minutes, had to walk out on the performance out of sheer anger. Bartender tended to everyone exclusively in the middle of the bar, utterly and blatantly ignoring anyone on the end. Tip to management, don’t just foolishly hire anyone who wears skirts and knows a 4-count. I was excited and ready to stay all night and spend very good money. If you care(which by your Bartender I assume you don’t), this was the only female Bartender at Alvin Risk’s June 3rd performance. Yes, this was a Wednesday.

**Updated review** NAGA is WAY too expensive for what it offers or doesn’t offer. I went last Friday and the cover was $ 25 and it was increased because Delicious from Flavor of Love was there(all she did was get on stage, say happy birthday to people and she was out). Drinks will break your pocket. I spent $ 28 on 2 drinks, $ 14 for a long island and $ 14 for a SHOT(more like a sip) of Hennessy. I was really so upset because the liquor store had a bottle of Hennessy on sale for $ 28 and I could’ve spent my money on that bottle… but NO I had to go and waste it at NAGA. Music was good and I can’t fault them for that. But I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back because my bank account was looking too sad the next day. Not sure which was worse, $ 25 entrance charge or $ 28 for 2 drinks. If you have the money for NAGA then my comments are irrelevant to you but there’s definitely other places where you can spend that same amount of money and get so much more.

Don’t bother in that dirty disgusting place!!! The food came with PUBIC hair, drinks expensive, bad DJ and a low budget manager who thinks he is working at «The Billionaire“in the emerald coast, but NO he is in central square!!! Another place that will be gone soon because there is so many good quality places around. No need to add more! One star is already too much for such a dump!

We booked a private event at Naga and the customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. I am in event planning as a career and deal with customer service and clients all the time and let me tell you this was the worst treatment I have ever received. They double booked our event and neglected to tell us until 2 days before the event when we couldn’t cancel due to our contract. Also because of the inconvenience they moved us to the restaurant room which was supposed to feel club like but when we arrived 15 min into our event they had no DJ set up and people were still eating dinner. This was horrible since there was no music, other people were at a private event, and no lights. Do not deal with them for events. They do not accommodate and they are very slimy in order to get what they want and provide the least amount of service possible.

This is the worst place I’ve been to in Cambridge. The security staff is completely unprofessional, slow, and unfriendly, which kind of makes sense because they’re headed up by the least humane female security head. She’s honestly the worst — rude, and so unhelpful. The dude with the red beard should be avoided too. Might be a cool place without the current staff, but every experience I’ve had there so far has been completely marred by them. Avoid this place at all costs!

The cover was $ 25. I repeat; the cover was twenty-five effin’ dollars! Where the hell does it go? The DJ? Cause he wasn’t that great. Shoddy sound quality, transitions that sounded like someone hit«next,» songs that changed as soon as you got into the beat. I also really appreciated his yelling of «pop that p***y, b***h!» Nothing like making a lady feel welcome. Maintenance? Certainly not. These were the filthiest bathrooms I’ve seen in a long time. Worse than the single person, underground toilet that had to be shared by both sexes at Charlie’s Kitchen. That at least had a working sink. Here, toilets were clogged, one stall was missing a door, the seat was covered in someone else’s hair, drinks were spilled all over the floor, and of course, no tp. Good thing I haven’t been skimping on leg day at the gym, cause my squatting skills really came in handy. Maybe it went to the nice lady yelling at the people in the coat rack line, despite trying to explain to her that my friend and I shared a hanger. I don’t think so; that would explain why she was so grumpy. Ok, some positive aspects: the line out front, although very long, went relatively fast. The bartenders both in the front and back rooms were friendly and helped us right away. One bartender even made my friend a special birthday drink when I requested something as vague as «fruity shot.» Unfortunately, they couldn’t redeem this place. I absolutely would not come here again, unless someone begged and pleaded, and it also happened to be a special occasion for them and that’s the only way their life would feel complete(damn that birthday special treatment). And even if I did, I’d stay in the front rooms to save myself the money to buy three drinks.

I’ve never had the food here but I have been here a couple times on weekend nights. On the nights I was there it had a decent crowd, this place is more my scene than other spots in Central Square due to the club-lite vibe it has. The staff and bartenders were friendly and quick, no complaints there. I also hear they throw a great Latin night party although I have never been.

This review is for a Friday night. Looks like I found the«black» club. Hip hop, R&B, Reggae with top 40 mixed in. Seems Boston has a lot of House clubs & I couldn’t find any hip hop. So that’s a +. Parking for us wasn’t bad, was able to park in a lot across the street for $ 8. Way cheaper than had we been in Boston. $ 20 cover charge, $ 15 on the guest list. $ 5 Bud Lights & Coronas. Bathrooms were nice & there wasn’t a guy trying to sell me gum. Like others have mentioned, it’s in the back of the restaurant Moksa. If you want hip hop, this is your place on a Friday night.

I had a similar experience to most Unilocalers. I went on Friday and it was crazy. I had to drive around for 20min to find parking. Tahiry from Love & Hip Hop was there so it was $ 30 after waiting in an extremely long slow moving line. We barely got to see her. Drinks were good. I always went to the bar outside the main room since the other was so crowded. The music was great, perfect even. Hip hop & Reggae. I saw a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time and had a good time.

[I give it 3.5 stars, not stellar enough for 4, but not as mediocre as a 3] I went on a Saturday for the sole purpose of Latin dance night and I was not disappointed. We came early and I had a glass of wine at the restaurant bar(DiSeno Malbec, Argentina, perfectly nice). We waited until the doors opened(I was free, guy was $ 10) for the club(Naga), the floor was empty at first but within 30 min. people were coming in and it was filled up by 11:30PM. We got drinks easily at the beginning and middle of the night. The music? Yes, freakishly loud and my ears were ringing by the end of the night, but it’s next to impossible to find good hip-hop/reggaeton in the Cambridge area. We danced from door opening to lights up and so was everyone else. They switched DJs once which resulted in some re-plays, but they were all good songs. Men wore nice to nice-casual, women in deliciously tight clothing/dresses, no thigh spared. An overall exciting place, don’t show up tired, and bring friend to dance with.

Naga, the club, is really a room in the back of Moksa, the restaurant. SOUND: the ceilings are super high, making talking nearly impossible. Gangsta Rap is popular here… not my thing. LOOKS: the lighting is very unflattering, so much, my boyfriend asked me to move out of it as he took my picture! PRICE: it took quite a while to get a drink. I heard there’s a $ 20 cover charge on weekends. THEDEAL: Read Unilocal reviews before going here.

Great music & the shots are served in LED light up shot glasses! They have a bar area which leads to a long hallway(where brunch is served on the weekends) and then a large back room with VIP sections and a dance floor. I’m looking into throwing my 30th here. hmm sounds like the person who posted below me is a promoter… I came here with a group of friends a few weeks ago on a saturday night. I was weary of having to wait in line as per the first reviewer because as of late, according to Unilocal,it seems that a lot of new places do the whole«make you wait outside for 45min while its actually empty inside» thing. side note – if you’re in the know, please message me and explain the logic. i mean, in my mind, it seems like the minute you get patrons in, they start buying booze, the drunker they get, the more likely they are to buy more booze… see the pattern? right. anyway. we got there around 11 i think and were let in promptly, the really weird thing is you have to walk through the restaurant that’s attached to it, like past all the people trying to enjoy their food, to get to the club part. i mean, i guess this is nice for when you need a break from dancing and want a snack? not sure what the cuisine is, but i remember it sounded like sushi. anyway, we check our coats, i think it was only 2 $ which is nice, and were then let in to the main dance floor area. its small. like smaller than the main dancefloor at Liquor Store(when you get past the mechanical bull).probably half the size. the music also sort of sucked. like there were good songs, but not mixed well and the transitions were awkward. the drinks are you average 10 $ for a vodka cran, the bartenders are a hit or miss. i went in for drink #2 with a different bar tender and literally waited for 15 mins before giving up. she had made someone’s drink, then went to the back for a min or so, came back and started serving someone who was behind me. this happened twice, the second time i came back she was about to serve me when the guy next to me had clearly been waiting longer… i was at least gracious enough to let him get his drink first. it also didnt really fill up, which i guess is in part due to it being a new place. but it was almost empty enough that it was awkward. even though there’s no cover, i wouldnt come back here.
