I tend to be quite picky about Ice Cream. This place really covers all the bases. First and foremost, they have a wide rotating variety of homemade ice cream. In addition, they have all the fixins. At a good Ice Cream parlor, I feel like you shouldn’t have to look at the menu. You should be able to call out any general toppings or cone types and a good shop will make it happen. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to «Ice Cream Parlors» that say they don’t carry staples like bananas, peanut butter sauce, etc. This place also has different chocolate and candy covered waffle bowls and cones, which speaks further to the quality of the parlor.

What a great place. It is the first non chain ice cream place I’ve found in the are that has a great variety of home made Italian ice. I was very impressed with the chocolate ice. It gives the best chocolate water ice I’ve had in Philly a run for its money. In a snowball town, very excited to be able to buy homemade Italian ice. Oh the ice cream is great to. Got a kids scoop which was plenty and it was only 1.50. They were out of Berger cookie ice cream but I tried the salted Carmel mocha instead. Not a bad choice. We also got the watermelon ice which had the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness. If all you have ever had is a snowball, give the Italian ice at Scoops a chance. You won’t regret it.

Great ice cream and tons of options! Snowballs, gelatis, ice cream! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I absolutely love the chalk board on the wall for the kids to play!

Seeing it in my head, I’m thinking there was about 24 flavors to choose from. Ice cream made there, fantastically creamy and flavorful. Guess I’ll have to go back at least 23 more times!
Prices couldn’t be beat. Staff was friendly, facility was clean, I was delighted.
