Pippos

Love them… Great service and excellent food. I have never had anything bad from them!

I have ordered take out from Pippos three times in the last week and have gotten the Philly cheese steak each time. It is delicious. My coworkers have ordered the Italian sub and gave it rave reviews as well.
I travel frequently for work, 10 months this past year, and this is one of the best sandwiches I have eaten… well more like devoured.
I can’t speak to the pizza or pasta but will update once I do.

I got the chicken parmesan sandwich. It was pretty good. Decent prices. It’s a little difficult as a first-​timer to figure out the process (e.g. Where to place your order, wait for your food at the counter or at a table, where and when to pay).

My opinion … they are a reliably good local takeout place. We visit here every time we go to Bengies Drive-​In theater. They let us call ahead for our order and it is always ready when we get there. The chicken fingers are our favorite because they taste good and it’s a large portion. The pizza and subs are ok, but not as good. They also always have an available table if we decide to eat there.

Went here for an Italian cold cut. Was not disappointed. Decent price, really nice sandwich! I like the toasted bread. It definitely satisfied my craving for a sandwich. I will certainly come back!

Always had good pizza and subs

We were not impressed with the pizza, however the bread was fresh and hot with our sub. The employee who served us only charged us for a large sub, but gave us two smalls because we got the same thing. He offered to cut our pizza slice in half too. The price was a bit high for what we got. All in all we would consider going back again, but we aren’t lining up for it.

Menu is a bit pricey. Pizza is a little bland. Subs taste good, but are a little pricey. The staff is very friendly which is why they get a four star review.

Yo, seriously? Another Unilocal disappointment.
So, this is what I’ve discovered about this area… unless it involves crab, the food is unexceptional. This place is no exception. You have to work hard to ruin a pizza, and boy did they manage it.

In search of a good lunch spot near work, I went to Unilocal for help. As usual, Unilocal did not disappoint. I had read that this spot was very good for Italian subs and cheesesteaks.
I walked into this small establishment and quickly asked the friendly lady at the counter what I should consider ordering. I mentioned that I heard the Italian sub and cheesesteaks were very good and she proceeded to reiterate this. As I was deciding which one to order, 3 gentlemen who had already sat down yelled for me to go with the Italian sub. I went with their suggestion and it did not disappoint.
There was a ton of meat on the sub and it was of the finest quality. The roll was great and tasty, too. I’m really excited to go back and try the cheesesteak next time I’m there. I would recommend this to anyone in the area for a quick bite to eat.

Every now and then you find a place that «gets it». This is one of those places. Yes, the dining area is tiny, and the pizza can sometimes be a little too greasy for my taste (that actually comes from using a better type of cheese, so it’s not a bad thing by any means — it’s just that too much grease makes me ill, and dabbing it off with a napkin changes the way it tastes).
Everything else can be summed up with one word: extraordinary. There is an authenticity to the italian dishes that you can taste. Especially the Lasanga, which I highly recommend. And the subs are equally as good. My personal favorite is the Pepperoni Pizza Steak Sub. Nobody else can make one as good as Pippos can.
They deliver, and it’s always fast. I’ve never had to wait more that a half hour (if even that long) from the time I order until the time they are at my door.

You basic pizza and sub shop. Has been around for a while and it is good. I usually get a sub, the italian cold cut and cheesesteaks are excellent. Pizza is good too. There is even a little Italian woman in there who reminds me of my Italian aunts, so it must be good!
They have daily (Mon-​Fri) lunch specials that don’t change. For example, Monday might be a meatball sub with fries and a drink for $ 7.99.
The dining area is small, but can handle 20 or so.
