Artis Drug

We’ve gone to Artis forever. They’re very helpful. Polite. They’ll deliver to your house. We refuse to go to the Walgreens across the street as it’s a typical lousy chain. Just the fact that Walgreens built right across the street is a turn off. My wife went in to the Walgreens once for a hard to find item that couldn’t wait and an employee made an extremely rude and unasked for comment to her. As long as Artis is around we’ll continue to support a long time local business. Try Artis, you’ll like it.

This is a dying breed. The local neighborhood pharmacy. They can order anything you need if they don’t have it in stock. They deliver prescriptions which especially for older people is wonderful. They also have a very friendly helpful staff. Why would anyone go anywhere else?

A good old neighborhood pharmacy where you get personal service and they deliver the prescriptions. Something you can’t get from one of those chain stores.

Solid local pharmacy. Prescriptions usually filled within 20 minutes of dropping them off. Good selection of basic pharmacy items, plus a section in back with some of those «On TV Only» items like the taco molds and such.

My family and I have been coming here since as long as I can remember. The pharmacists are really knowledgeable and its a really nice family owned place (or at least it seems that way. Same people working there all the time). We get better prices at this pharmacy as opposed to somewhere like CVS. They also get my medication ready in a timely manner. They also have free prescription delivery which is really nice especially if you’re too sick to go out and nobody is able to pick up your medicine for you. I’ll miss this place when I move out!
P. S. This review was for the pharmacy. The other things you can buy in here are actually a little more expensive than places like CVS. So if you’re going here to buy shampoo expect to pay more here. I’ve never really used this place for that purpose.

This local pharmacy has been here for a really long time. They have great prices, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a very organized and clean array of products. Although Walgreens is right across the street, they are much more slower at preparing your prescription and they also charge you $ 1 for every prescription you have covered with insurance. At Artis… you get all medicine under insurance for free! With really pretty and nice staff, and a clean welcoming environment, this pharmacy is where I will continue to go for as long as I live around here. Besides, for my insured prescriptions, if I had to choose to pay $ 1 or get it for free, of course I’d choose free!

Artis is a terrific, locally owned pharmacy. Very fair prices, great service and a pillar of the Middle Village community. Despite the recent opening of a major chain drugstore right across the street, Artis is where we continue to go.
