Years ago Rudy’s was our go to butcher for better cuts of meat. Prices went up and as the shop declined overall. It became possible to get good meat at better prices at some of the nearby supermarkets. It seems we weren’t they only ones displeased with the situation. For better or worse Rudy’s closed his doors. Good luck, Rudy!

I do realize it might be a lil strange that to have, a vegetarian commenting on a butcher shop… But, I have to agree 100% with Jeff H… Even walking past the butcher shop, I can smell the cigar smoke. I’ve seen Mr. Rudy smoke over his products. And on a side note, Rudy, is too concerned with pedestrians, even more so than his business. He should think about opening a laundry mat… I obviously never tried his meat, so I do not know how good, or how bad it is. But, I should hope that he offers advice on how to cook meat, it is part of his business.

Rudy’s «Prime» Meats is a place I no longer go to. His place is dirty and smells of cigar smoke(because he smokes cigars over the meats). Rudy has no idea of cleanliness or self-image. He allows cats and other rodents run around his store all whilst laughing. He overcharges for products that I would not normally pay for unless I was desperate. My family has purchased bad meat from him twice now and we don’t go back. I once found a can of sauerkraut from 2005 in 2007.
