I have been a patient of Dr. Tuminello for at least 5 years now. i fell he has an excellent bedside manner and he is very thorough, most of the time the visits are cut and dry he gives me my medication and it usually knocks out the common illness if need be he will alwas run a thorough panel of blood and always help you in any way he can to get you back on track. I feel that this establishment has always been considerate to my needs if I call in out short notice Fina always tells me to come right in and I can wait and she will get me in an exam room ASAP. He is conveniently located for me he calls in my scripts anytime he can to accomodate me and always gives me referrals to good doctors in different branches of medicine. He is a genuinely good person and knowledgable doctor.

I have been a patient for over 30 years … I’ve been to other Drs but dr Tumminello is the only dr who Doesn’t hustle u into the office for 3 minutes of his time n send u out with only script… He sits down n really listens… He is a young dr who treats u like ur family… He comes out in the office to greet u with a handshake and old world manners and a friendly concerned caring personal touch… Yes their is usually a long wait unless u get there early bc he gives his patients his time… U always leave knowing u have received the best care. Most importantly u feel you were treated like a human and not like a customer who’s money is the primary reason ur being treated… Dr Tumminello is the best n most caring and his professional knowledge is outstanding

BEWARE!
This place is absolutely horrible.
First of all they are prejudice.
Second of all they are slimy. They steal your money! Beware! They told me that they would not accept my credit card and made me go to the bank down the street to pay them in cash when it clearly says that they accept visa, mastercard, and amex on their window. They said they understand that I have co-​pay (which means the doctor sends everything into the insurance company and the insurance company sends a bill in the mail instead of paying up front) but said they would not accept it from me because they are afraid of not receiving the money (this is illegal). They also took me behind from the window away from the other guests to tell me this because they knew that it was wrong. This is why I think they are prejudice I am Puerto Rican (I’m on my girlfriend’s account that is me in the picture with her, clearly I am dark skinned) and they were very traditional Italian. My girlfriend felt like this was wrong so she called her mother and she spoke to the Doctor’s sister (the extremely rude lady at the front desk) and we heard the lady yelling at her mother on the phone. We went to the window to ask what was going on and the lady shoved the phone towards us and said «I’m not speaking to that woman we had an agreement why is she questioning me?» so we told her that it’s not how our insurance works and that it’s not right for her to refuse my card and my insurance policy which they have a contract with. She cursed at us and told us to find another doctor we aren’t their patients (this was a first visit). I couldn’t believe what we just went through. This lady was the most unprofessional person I have ever seen in my 23 years of living.
I had never seen something so horrible in my life. How was this a DOCTOR’s office? I have high blood pressure and I needed a new Doctor immediately because I had just moved to the neighborhood. This was an important visit and she refused to go about things the right way. She put my health at jeopardy. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Carmen Bosch who is located in Manhattan the next day. Dr. Bosch is MUCH more professional and the office is much more professional in general.
**** I would never recommend anyone to go to Dr. Tumminello’s office I wouldn’t trust them one bit. I have never had a bad experience with a doctor’s office before but I guess this was the lowest of the low. If you are looking for a doctor find someone else. I recommend Bosch, but really anyone else would be better than this place. Please save yourself the money and hassle of a horrible experience/​robbery.
I was *this close* to calling the newspaper and having a «shame on you» story put in the news. Luckily for Dr. Tumminello I didn’t find the time being that I was so busy finding a new doctor and getting my medicine in time and dealing with the insurance company.
