We were visiting from out of state and happened to see the sign for The Wool Patch as we were driving by, so of course we had to stop! It happened to be one of the days they are normally closed, which we did not know, but the owner was outside in her garden and she was happy to come open up for us and let us browse her yarn selection. My mother and I both found something we couldn’t live without(of course!) and the owner didn’t mind my kids, who I plopped down by the door with some video games to keep them entertained. The best part was that her prices were much better than the ones around where we live and she said that we can do long distance orders, which is great since we both found some yarn that would be perfect for our next projects but weren’t sure how much we would need yet. And before we left someone local who had called in for help with a project happened by, so it was nice to not feel like we had caused her to open up shop only for us. :)
