Lovely little consignment store. Great customer service. i was so impressed with the knowledge the salespeople had on saddles. Store has a thoughtful layout and is clean and tidy. It’s a far drive for me, but worth it!

Fantastic quality used tack, clothing and equipment, fairly priced, smack in the middle of amazing Virginia horse country.
Shop is not huge but is stuffed to the gills on both levels, so give yourself plenty of time to dig through and find your treasure!
The gal in charge kept my husband entertained teaching him about the hunting equipment in the front case — we don’t have much hunting here — which left me free to explore! Very friendly, knowledgable folks.
If only I didn’t have to fly across the country, I’d be in there all the time!

I lived in Prince William 12yrs And loved this store and I never bought a thing! Two years after my horse died I swore I’d never own another and took every last thing horsey related I had after selling a lot myself at 2 local tack swaps. After 6 months I had them drop the price on my Stubben 150 $ and the day I was ready to call them to lower it again I got a check in the mail! yea! I had small things (pill cutters etc) they didn’t want and told me they didn’t sell. I told them to price them a dollar or they would be in there dumpster out back as I left the parking lot. All those «dollar» items were the first to sell! Since moving back home to Norfolk I have been mailing them boxes of 10 – 15 Breyer model horses every few months. just called and there shelves are empty and I got my last consignment check. I have a box all ready to mail them tomorrow! always been very nice when I was in the store with friends shopping. if they were rude to anyone they must have been having a really bad name. there not all like that.

The working staff are really very knowledgable but the owner (should retire) would do much better to manage from elsewhere. She is rude without reason, condescending to patrons and just plain nasty. I had the unfortunate experience of watching her be unnecessarily rude to several people while waiting with a friend who was purchasing a saddle recently. She certainly gave the «I am better and am having to lower myself to talk to these idiots» attitude. I would go anywhere else rather than deal with this person.

The BEST place to find tack and riding gear for a good price. I have been coming here since I started riding when I was a kid, and have bought everything from brushes to blankets to a dressage saddle here. When I was getting my first pair of tall boots as a junior, one of the staff was very kind to spend a good deal of time with me as I tried on several different pairs. They also allow you to buy saddles or other tack on a trial basis. They are very busy on Saturdays, so if you will be needing personal attention you may want to come on a weekday (but not Monday, as they are closed).

I call this the horse «thrift shop»! Prices are excellent! Items in good shape! Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable! I love this place!!!

My goodness! What attitude and rudeness — a terrible experience. The Mister and I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon with his cowboy boots, looking to find a place to get them resoled.
They don’t resole boots, and that’s fine. But their attitude in telling us was just over the top and unnecessary. They made us feel like we’d asked them something extremely distasteful and possibly illegal. When we asked them if they knew anyone in town who did, they proceeded to give us a half arsed answer about someone in a mall in Purcellville or some such.
What a lovely tall tale. There is a locally owned small business less than two blocks away that resoles boots quite well. What on earth would it have cost them to share that information?
These people don’t deserve your business.
