I have most fortunately been a client of Dwight’s for over 10 years – I can truly say that he has a special gift with scissors and cutting hair — I am a forever loyal customer! Over the years — I have always received beautiful compliments on my hair — but I must share that most recently – I received one that I consider the best one yet! I had the pleasure of briefly meeting Hoda Kotb — during our brief conversation she shared how much she loved my hair and «wanted it» I was completely blown away and flattered by her lovely compliment – I thought to myself — OMG Hoda Kotb «wants my hair” — -I could hardly wait to tell Dwight about this amazing and most beautiful compliment that Hoda had given to him!!! You will LOVE Dwight and The Grooming Room — not only for the awesome service that he provides — but also for his most inviting and wonderful personality!!!

The location: perfect, in the heart of the town, on the Main Street.
The shop: upscale, welcoming, clean, comfortable seating, not your typical barbershop, subtle music and I was told that most of the art was created by the talented owner.
The barber/​owner: Middleburg native, all around great guy, nice conversations and he really knows his craft.
The experience: I was in town visiting from Texas and gave the shop owner a call for a color treatment. Dwight squeezed me in on a busy Saturday afternoon and I couldn’t have been more elated. Never having my hair colored before, I was quite apprehensive, he was very patient and allowed me to take my time deciding what I wanted. Top notch service! I returned to Texas with so many compliments from strangers and hair dressers. I have been asked on several occasions the who, what, when and where did I get my hair done. I called the owner a month later to thank him due to the overwhelming out of state response to my hair color! Crazy! The next time I’m in VA, I will be sure to visit the Men’s Grooming Room again. Thank you for all you do!

Dwight tells me that it’s been about 50 years since Middleburg, an up-​scale rural community accustomed to many of the finer things in life, has had a barber of any kind. i can attest to that being a fact going back 20 years.

Absolutely top flight. The place is really good looking and comfortable inside, with a simple and masculine elegance, and I had my hair cut by the owner, Dwight. He is a Middleburg native, and although I often explain issues I have with my hair, Dwight is the first to actually listen and give me honest, straightforward opinions. The results were exceptional, and for twenty five bucks I feel like I got a haircut worth twice as much. Absolutely the best place in the area.

I walked in without an appointment and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The barber (and owner) Dwight said he could squeeze me in even though he did have back to back appointments.
