What can I say? It’s M&Js. If you are a local, you know what I’m talking about. Great breakfast. Blueberry pancakes are amazing. When I’m visiting with the kids, I know my picky son will always be in the mood for the french toast, and Mike has it on the grill before we even sit down. Haha! Lunch favorites are the fresh patty burger(one of the many good burger choices in Middleburgh) and grilled turkey sandwich. And you can’t beat the prices.

A breakfast and lunch joint on Main Street with a comfy atmosphere and service to match. On a Saturday morning, we visited and the place was mostly, full, but we sat at a just-cleaned booth and browsed the menus that were tucked in a the side of the table. I had a blueberry waffle, which was very light with a crispy texture outside and a soft, fluffy inside. Really good, and not something that was a belly-buster. Also, a veggie omelet with cheese was good and filling. It came with home fries and toast and, while the portion size was less than we’ve usually seen, was more than enough to satisfy. It’s not always about filling the plate at these local haunts, but how good the stuff was that they put on the dish. Service was great. Prices were more than reasonable… I mean, breakfast for two, two full bellies, coffee and tea, side of home fries and all mentioned above for $ 13…that’s a sweet deal.

This is the best place for breakfast in the county. Everyone in town goes here and all the locals can’t be wrong. I love it. No need for regulars to order– Mona knows what each patron likes, and Mike makes the best veggie omelette anywhere. This is Cheers, Catskill style.

meh is right. my cousins who live up here used to be(and probably still are) obsessed with this place, and always insisted we went here for every possible meal. the man who runs the place is sort of soup nazi-esque, and has a pretty gruff tude which i wouldn’t mind if his food backed it up, but everything here is average at best. after trying a few different things and being ech about them all, and then trying the tuna and thinking i actually might projectile vomit, i refused to eat here anymore. if you’re used to crappy upstate ny food, then you’ll probably be okay with this. if you have taste buds, stay away
