My son started here almost a year ago, in their preschool program. They offer such a great, caring and learning environment. He has gained confidence and such an increase in vocabulary. They nurtured his love of art, reading, science and play. We unfortunately have to move again or we would stay until kindergarten. They have raised the bar so high that I am having a hard time finding a preschool that even slightly compares in my new town. Truly a Cadillac of schools! Kristin Generalli and her family really knocked it out of the park with this place.

my daughter has gone here for over a year and i LOVE it. excellent staff, excellent art program, reading is encouraged several times a day. I highly recommend it!!! so happy we went with this school.

An infant/​toddler day care and 3 – 4 year old pre-​school located in the Middlebury Edge medical complex’s large bottom floor. The school has a special focus in fostering a love for literature and the arts in its students as well as incorporating creative and artistic play into the daily routine of even the youngest children. Stocked with top-​notch teachers, many with advanced degrees in education, the environment is warm and nurturing as well as intellectually stimulating, and the location provides a safe and large area for the children to play including a library and a room dedicated to music and fitness. It also boasts a lovely outdoor playground for both the pre-​school and the day care centers.
The Generali School chooses a different Author of the month to feature each month such as Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss, as well as a theme to study such as «Community Workers», «Our Planet and the Universe», and «Friends, Family and Those we Love». Children are encouraged to create projects around the themes as well as exploring the traditional subjects of math, language and science.
I would recommend the school and day care for any local family looking for an extremely enriching «private school» feel for their children’s early education.
