Greg’s Meat Market

I’m so grateful for this store! They have a nice selection of produce, much of it organic and local. They also cut up vegetables and package it for easier consumption, such as stir fry veggies or peeled and cut butternut squash. They have a nice selection of fresh fruit (local when in season) and a great selection of fresh meats. They also have a nice deli serving a variety of salads and cold cuts.
This place is your friendly corner grocery store, ALWAYS open. It’s small, yet carries nearly everything at the most reasonable prices. I love shopping here!

OK, so generally I love Greg’s meat market. I love getting my cat food there. It’s not as cheap as Hannafords, but it’s damned convenient. BUT I have got to say something about the deli. Every once in a while I treat my partner and I to sandwiches. They offer to make them «YOUR WAY» and write down what you want for a reason. I never ever get them my way. You get them home, all excited to eat your sandwich, and it’s all screwed up every damned time. They never ever get the sandwich right, and of course, by the time you get all the way home, put the groceries away, walk the dogs, change into your sweats, fix your drinks and settle in for the night, you hardly feel like taking the sandwich back to have it fixed the way it should have been made the first time. This happens every damned time I get sandwiches. This time I had asked for the meat and the cheese to be sliced thickly and as usual the moron sliced it thinly, shaved it actually and paid NO ATTENTION to what I asked, as usual. I’ve just had it this time and had to write a review. Why do they bother writing it down if they are going to make it the way they want anyway? Nex time I’m going to repeat myself a bunch of times and ask to see the damned thing before they wrap it up. They usually taste good, but boy that deli would never pass a cleanliness inspection. It’s filthy back there. Even the employees tell you it’s disgusting. Thank God I’m not a germ-​phobe. I miss the real Greg, who used to own the place. If something was wrong, he’d make it right. Please guys, pay attention in the deli, and clean up the place.

Wish the web page had the weekly ads current. Sales in June for the 5^th through 8^th don’t help on the 24^th

Visited this place while camping out with friends. Was so happy to find it open on Christmas Day. Even though it’s called a meat market, they have a very good selection of fruits, vegetables and nuts. The food is also pretty fresh. I had some trouble finding some foods and had to ask the market for directions. They were very, very friendly and helpful.
Only complaint is that it’s a little small, but it’s still the biggest in the area.
