Had to buy a used Nintendo DS for my stepdaughter for her 7th birthday. I know nothing of video games or their needs. The buys working there are probably 15 – 25 but all know what I need and love it. They helped me through finding the cleanest best one and a game too. They weren’t condescending or weird about my lack of knowledge and were happy to pull down a million things for me to look at and touch. It’s pretty quiet in there but the flow is steady right until close. Awesome staff. I will definitely go back.

Ok, I’ve been to my fair share of Gamestops… I’m not going to argue the fact that I never quite grew out of my high school geek phase. I mean, come-on, I have a picture of me which resembles a scene from the first Matrix movie. Sad, I know. Anyway, my usual selections are the 3 in Nashua(2 in the mall, and 1 by the cinema) and the 2 in Burlington… 1 across from the mall in a shopping plaza(with Wendy’s) and 1, again, in the mall. As I’ve always(or usually) been game shopping at some point(usually 1 to 2 games every 3 months) I frequent these stores. Let me be the first(literally!) to say that the Gamestop in Chelmsford @ Drum Hill, has them all beat hands down! This place is amazing. It’s clean, and roomy… feels like there is a ton of space, especially when compared to other stores(the ones in the mall always feel so cramped). There’s multiple hands on video game systems to try out the newest games, right in the middle of the store, and even information touch screens. Want to find out when that game you’re waiting for comes out? Touch the screen and check, instead of flipping through the multi page, dirty, half torn pages or bad print, binder. The selection is just as good, if not better, then other Gamestops in the area. Mostly because, since it’s roomy, there is space for said games. It’s in a pretty convenient location as well. In a shopping plaza with Moe’s Southwest Grill, Panera Bread, a Citi-Bank branch, Payless Shoes, a hair-cut/salon location, the Paper-Store, Wal-Mart, and a Hanaford. It’s literally a one stop shop/eat and go location during the week or weekend. If you didn’t know, they recently upgraded/fixed-up the Wal-mart too(inside) so multiple bonuses on one visit. :-P If you’re a gamer, a parent shopping for their kid, or you’re looking for a gaming gift in your area, I’d highly suggest this location for your game shopping needs!
