Found a diamond in rough. Stumbled across this place after a dental appointment and I learned within minutes that this place was worth a review. The staff was great and extremely courteous. The price of grass fed dry aged beef was extremely fair. We were looking for ground turkey and they ground it to order. I was growing tired of putting up with the snobbery and overprices of whole foods and other green grocers when I want top quality ethically raised meats. Will be my go to spot from here on out regardless of the 30 min drive.

Love love LOVE this shop! I had to go Paleo 7 months ago for health reasons and just recently found Eva’s and I’ll gladly make the 15-mile trek on a regular basis for their grass-fed roasts and steaks. I love that they’re family-owned and sooooo friendly. They don’t order from a distributor and you can see the aged steaks and huge sides of meat hanging in their fridge before they’re butchered, as well as the fresh meats in the case. All questions are answered, even if it means digging out a bottle of marinade to check the ingredients. They have fresh and frozen seafood too and it’s all beautiful. They’re beyond reasonably priced as well. I’ll choose supporting this store over some corporate, horribly overpriced chain any day and highly, highly recommend that anybody wanting quality animal protein give this place a shot. I won’t go anywhere else. I’m sorry but the sole negative reviewer must have mishandled the meat and she obviously has no idea about grass-fed beef if they supposedly got sick.

I just picked up four meals for two people for under $ 30. The meat is pasture raised grass fed and very clean. the staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a good variety. I am pretty sure I will never buy meat at a regular supermarket again.

Um. I’m sorry, but did the entire North Shore go vegetarian in the past decade that I’ve been living down in Metrowest? Because that is the only possible valid reason why I walked into this place after 5pm on a Thursday and I was the only one in there. Organic and grassfed chicken, pork, and beef, at a very fair and very reasonable price – and I say that on a student’s income. Bags of frozen soup bones – pork, beef, chicken. Do you know how expensive pork bones can be? These aren’t, and they’re organic or grassfed. Good looking seafood. Homemade bacon. Homemade roast beef. Lots of things I thought I’d never see again after I left Philly and the Terminal and Italian Markets. Some of the previous reviewers noted that the meat tastes a bit odd compared to your typical cornfed beef. Diet changes will do that. I also think that these guys could«beef up» their marinades. I tried the steak tips in the steak house marinade, and the whole affair tasted kind of sweet and flat to me; I think that might just be the absence of salt or some dearth of complexity in terms of spices. But I nabbed some filet mignon, and a little salt made that baby sing. And the bacon and ground beef did great in some chili I made. Oh yeah. And you can order online and have it delivered. And there is a CSA. And the folks are pretty damn friendly.

You don’t win a «Best of the North Shore» award for not offering great quality and setting yourself apart from the competition. I am fortunate in that this authentic butcher shop is close to my office. It is easy for me to pick up something on my way home. I find the prices to be fair especially for the quality of the meats. The owner/butcher is very friendly and helpful. He takes great pride in the products he sells. He can tell you exactly where each piece of meat was raised and in most cases it is just a short drive from his store. He is also very accommodating when it comes to having something cut in a special way. I really enjoy the chimmichurri marinated beef and chicken. This stuff would be awesome on pork as well. The roasted garlic chicken tips are great for the grill and my kids love them. Buy local while it is still local!

I was so happy to find this butcher shop. It’s about 20 – 25 minutes from home, but well worth the drive to find fresh, local, grass-fed and free-range meat. The owner and staff members were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. Coming from a family of immigrants, it makes me proud to see other immigrants come to America and live out their dream. I hope that Eva’s Farm opens other locations — Burlington would be a perfect location! To try the meat, I picked up two varieties of flavored steak tips. We bbq’d them medium rare. They were so tender! I had hoped that the flavor would be more pronounced, but it didn’t take away from our delicious dinner. I plan on visiting again to try other meat products. I also picked up a block of goat cheese made locally in Tewksbury, MA, and I loved the sharp flavor. Way to go!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The store was was clean, bright and inviting. We got a brisket and tri-tip. I was excited to get the tri-tip as many butchers don’t offer it. However, it was flavorless. The brisket actually made us sick. For two days my husband and I were both so sick – can never go back.
