First time going there and it was great. Food was so fresh and flavorful. Crab Rangoon was great. Wanted to try the lobster Rangoon but unfortunately they were out. Which was strange for a Friday night at 6:00. Pad Thai was delicious. Can’t wait to go again.

I want to like this place because I live so close. I go here about once a year hoping it will get better. I leave here wondering how they are still in business! It’s like a cruel joke I drive by every night… Well I’ll try it again in 11 months.

Best Thai food I have ever had. I have tried thai food all over Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island & there has been some other good restaurants but nothing that has been as good as fresh and delicious as this Thai restaurant. It is a must try. It is a husband and wife team Who own it. They buy their ingredients fresh every day and the wife is an amazing cook. I have yet to try anything better and I travel for work all over the East Coast.

My husband has been talking about bringing me here for the longest time. Since we were only a half hour away and had some time to kill, I finally got to try the food. My husband told me it was a small place, so I knew what to expect in that regard. We walked into the restaurant, navigated our way through the thick plastic strips(to keep the cold out I presume), and immediately noticed how freakin’ cold it was inside. Two space heaters were cranking away, but that did little to warm the place; I kept my coat on the entire time. I was pleased to see they had a liquor license, as I wasn’t sure they would since it was«a small place». We had decided ahead of time to order the pad thai(the«best ever» according to my husband) and pineapple fried rice, a personal favorite. We ordered crab rangoons for an app and a couple of beers. We heard a microwave beeping and I said, «Oh no, I hope this guy isn’t out back microwaving everything.» Then he brought us a bowl of soup(steaming from the frigid temperature in the restaurant); the obviously microwaved soup was tasty, with cilantro, rice noodles, and bits of chicken. Definitely helped warm us up! When the rangoons arrived, I thought we were on Candid Camera… the smallest I’ve ever seen. Tasty, but overpriced for their miniature size. We ordered country pad thai(spicy) although it wasn’t very spicy at all, and the shrimp was questionable in both the pad thai and the fried rice. Was the pad thai«the best ever»? No, but I think I’d try the regular pad thai next time to more easily compare with others I’ve had. The winning dish was the pineapple fried rice; delicious, lots of vegetables(onion, red and green pepper, carrots) and seasoned perfectly. If we were in the area again, I’d give it another try.

Worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Smelled like Petco, the shrimp and chicken was dried out, and it left me feeling terrible after. Not worth the money and not worth the time. Don’t go here.

Excellent Thai food! Fresh, hot and delicious! Had tempura vegetables that were not greasy. Our dinner entrees all had fresh ingredients of pork, chicken and shrimp. The spices were just right. Not bland or too spicy. The restaurant is small but feels very homey. This was my first time there but not my last!

Always fresh and without the chemicals and additives you can often taste in other Thai restaurants. Never greasy and with lots of healthy options. The owner is super friendly, kind and generous, often giving little extras with your meal. The chef is owner as well and she is extremely good at what she does. Only using the freshest ingredients, she hand carves the vegetables into pieces of art. Tip: Try the Mango Sweet Rice Dessert. Fair Prices, Friendly, Neighborhood Service, Fresh and Delicious!

I have been to this place plenty of times. The food is great, and not expensive. There is only one guy(the owner) who runs the whole restaurant. Usually when i go i usually have a great experience so i wanted to take my boyfriend when he was here for the weekend. I have never been so embarrassed in my life! The server was so rude I could not believe it! My boyfriend has a food allergy so we asked to substitute something and he replied with«NO.What you see is what you get!!!» So we were forced to pick something else. He never brought our drinks over and when i asked again he just walked away so i had to keep asking. And every time I asked for something he wouldn’t listen and would just give a dirty look and mumble to himself and walk away. I was appalled… The sad part is I used to be a huge fan of this place but i will never return after what happened that day. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Hmmm… this place is okay. The moo pienk appetizer is ok although it could use a little stronger seasoning. The chicken basil was alright. Nothing wow’d me. If I was in the area, I would hit it again. However I would not make it a special destination.

This place has SNL sketch potential written all over it, and that’s exactly what makes it fab. We walk into a totally empty room for lunch on a random pre-Christmas Thursday. Wait 5 minutes before being met by a gruff gentleman asking us if we want a table. I say«yes,» but then wish I had gone with another response: «nah, we just came to look at the Presidents of the United States place mats and the Three Stooges poster next to a painting of the King of Siam. Then again … I’m positive his retort would have been: «Hey, the jerk store called.» He points out a table, flips two menus in our direction and disappears while grumbling something under his breath. The menus have pictures of all of the food: It’s another wonderfully tacky aspect that totally adds to your dining experience. This place is wonderfully tacky in general, and the lone server/owner/chief cook and bottle washer is wonderfully rude. On second thought, forget SNL: Were this place located in Somerville or Cambridge, it would be a trendy, hipster paradise. Instead, it’s located in a rundown, crowded little plaza hard by Route 114, and right next door to the DQ. King of Siam meets Dairy Queen: It’s a match made in heaven. We had the pad Thai. It was tasty and a lot of food for $ 8.95. Nice flavors. Fresh veggies. No complaints. Lunch starts with a lightly flavored cup of complimentary chicken soup(Thai basil is the star of this little cup of goodness). Oh, almost forgot to mention that the TV behind the bar was playing a Pink Floyd concert. Eating pad Thai by the«dark side of the moon.» Now, that’s an experience you just wouldn’t get at a 5-star restaurant. Best of all, I learned from my place mat that Grover Cleveland was both the 22nd and 24th president. I also admired a men’s room sign that reads: «All employees must wash hands. Remember, the nation is eating out of your hands.». I also learned that the name of the guy who seated us served us, and maybe even cooked for us, was Mark. My guess is that it’s an Americanized version of his Thai name. Gruff as could be, Mark could care less about a customer’s happiness, but the dude was still damn charming in his own little way. A healthy, tasty Lunch and a floor show for two, and the tab was less than 21 bucks. How can you beat that. Merry Christmas, Mark.

I would give a minus to this place if I could. I have worked in the restaurant business for 15 years and I have never had someone be so rude. I called in a lunch order for my office, one of the items had a few modifications. Extra this and take out that… you get my drift. The gentlemen on the phone yelled into the phone you get how we make it or not at all. I replied it is just a few modifications. He screamed at me … i have no idea what he said but he hung up on me. Needless to say he lost a lot of business and a lot of returning business. I would steer clear of this place.

It’s hard to find bad Thai, but this is close. I’d describe the food as bland and soggy. We ate pad thai and pad see aele, avoiding spicy so our 1 year old could eat it. The shrimp was recognizable only by texture and appearance, no shrimp flavor whatsoever, the scallops were a weird opaque color, and everything had a sort of overcooked taste to it. The steamed shumai were terrible, hard and dry on the inside. The free soup was tasty at least. Of the 7 – 8 Thai places we’ve tried in the Boston area it was the worst. Better in the North Shore are Sawasdee in Danvers, and the Vietnamese 888 place on Rt 1 in Peabody.

Their paid thai is THE best. The fresh spring rolls are okay. the first time I ordered them they said they didn’t have any. that they took too long to prepare. The 2nd time I ordered them, they had to go and check to make sure they had them. I guess they are prepared ahead of time or something. I ordered the crab rangoons and they are a bit of a rip off. They are much tinier than normal(bite size) and not that flavorful. I will still return for the paid thai sure. Very friendly service and quick pick up too!

This place has very good food. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the price is right. I went to school in Lowell where there are a lot of very good Vietnamese/Thai restaurants that I went to rather frequently, so I believe I have enough experience to give an honest review. We were about to get pizza the night I first came here, but I’m glad we came here instead.

This is by far the best Thai/asian restuarant I’ve been to. I’ve been getting take out from this place for years. When my husband traveled I was there once a week. The owner is the nicest, most adorable man and I’m guessing his wife is the main chef. Everything I’ve had is amazing. Pad Thai and Crispy Pad Thai– both delcious. This is the only place I’ve seen the crispy version but it is awesome. Crispy thai rolls are authentic and flavorful. Crab rangoons are also tasty. The prices are great. I’ve dined in only once but the service was great and quick. The location might throw you off, being in a strip mall with a dairy queen but you will be pleasantly surprised. Give it a try today!

The food is good here but there are a few points that drive me away from this place. For starters, when you first walk in it’s awkward because you are not sure whether you should seat yourself or wait to be seated because no one is ever there to greet you. Next, the service is so slow because there is one waiter running the whole show. Lastly, there are things on the menu, like the fresh rolls, that they refuse to make because I was told it would take too long to prepare. That’s unacceptable.

Visited on a friday night. Pretty quiet. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for 2 people. All very good! Service was fine. Food came very promptly after ordering. Back to the food — I thought the quality of the ingredients was excellent — crisp, tasty veggies and well-prepared meats. Good sauces. Nicely spicy. The menu for the most part had mostly well-known Thai favorites with just a few dishes I haven’t seen at other Thai restaurants. The menu had some fun/interesting mis-translations of Asian language into english that made for some reading :-). Atmosphere was ok. Prices very reasonable. For me, the most important thing is always the food; and I would say that I liked the food here better than the several other Thai options in the North Suburbs that I’ve been to. I would definitely recommend the Siam Grill 88.

This is a nice little restaurant. Very small, but do I dare say cute. Very good food, great prices, friendly, fast service, they actually have a full bar. 2 – 3 stools. The best Pad Thai, Great for lunch take out or a nice dinner. Two things are rather odd, # 1 they have a string tied to the front door that leads all the way back into the kitchen so when you walk in you can here the bell out back. Also there is a small vestibule, & exiting the vestibule & entering the restaurant, they have one of those heavy plastic walls that you have to push your self through(you know like used in meat houses). They are not open Sundays & their closed everyday from 2:30 to 4:40.

Best Thai food I have ever had, including the nice places in Boston like Montein and Brown Sugar-and it is less expensive! Chances are if you eat in you will be one of the only, as most people get take out. Either way, the service is fast and reliable and you will not leave disappointed.

Dude I love this place. I used to just order for delivery but been going here lately and to my surprise, its a really great looking place. The appearance of the exterior might throw you off a bit but when you step inside, its pretty decent. I always like coming to this place for lunch and of course the lunch specials, so cheap and it comes with a drink. The service is always great and the food comes out so fast, I’m loving it. I definitely recommend coming here to eat. Easy parking too!
