Top Ten Nails and Skin Care

I went here on recommendation from a friend, The owner Jenny was very abrupt and unwelcoming, Having never met me before she reprimanded me for the first 10 minutes about waiting too long between pedicures, I did have nail polish chipping and couple chipped toenails, But I dance and my toes take a beating. being a couple weeks over due, i told her I was too busy and she snapped at me telling me I need to make time, we are all busy. on and on. Ummm Ok, I thought to myself. The prices were different from online site, which in itself is not a big deal, The prices here are fair and I understand price increases are necessary. The pedicure was ok, nice products, but I really didn’t feel comfortable with her, on edge demeanor. I don’t think I will be going back.

I rarely leave reviews but I want to brag about this place. I have been a customer for almost 5 years. Jenny has recently begun doing facials. She is wonderful and the products she uses are superb. I walk out feeling like a new woman. I also won’t let anyone do my nails. She is by far a perfectionist and customer service is a top priority.

Ugh. Went here a few weeks ago with a friend. A guy did my pedicure and did NOT do a good job. it literally took him 20 minutes to do a pedicure and all he did was cut my nails and paint them. He did not put lotion on, scrub off any callous, cut off my cuticles or anything! such a waste of money. I am not sure if the other employees are good but the male is Not good at all. I should have saved my 25 bucks and painted my toenails myself! Ill gladly take my business elsewhere next time.

I used to go here all the time until the owner, Jenny I believe, started to not do what I asked. I wanted a full set of acrylics and asked that they be cut on the short side. She refused and said that she cant do them short. Also, during an eyebrow wax she refused to cut my eyebrows as I requested because she didn’t think they would grow back right, even though it is what I wanted as a paying customer. It is frustrating to pay money for a service and not get what you want simply because they don’t like the nails and eyebrows that way. Very disappointed as I used to come here all the time. :(

The employees are not very friendly. My pedi took 25 mins. Not a very good job either

This place is horrible! The guy who did my nails reeked of cigarette smoke, had dirty hands, and ripped off one of my cuticles, causing it to bleed. Once I got home, I decided that not only did I want a refund, I wanted a refund for the gift card that I will never use because I am never going to redeem it. I called the owner, Jenny. She refused to issue any sort of refund but said I could come back and she would correct whatever I wasn’t happy with. We kind of kept talking in circles, she told me they all work hard and they work together, and she’d be happy to fix whatever I wasn’t happy with. I was going on vacation the next day, so it never really got resolved. I just gave the gift card away. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place.

I have been going to this salon for about 3 months. I always get a Shellac manicure. On the plus, the salon is clean, quiet and pretty relaxing for a nail salon. Jenny the owner is friendly. I always see Yen or (Yan?) and her manicures come out great. I try to stay with her as I have been disappointed in the other manicurists work. Only thing I would say as a negative is they dont take the polish off using the «Shellac» method. The colors could also use some updating… I feel like I have gone through them all!

My daughter and my pedicures were average … had French mani & full set of acrylics … Jenny recommended the white tips (never got those before) … Now I know why!!! I agreed because I always get/​like French, so I went with her suggestion… tips applied unevenly, poorly shaped/​filled … barely left a nail bed, thick
overlay…they look so fake… not classy looking @ all! I asked several times for her to sand/​file them … she kept telling me it was my nail shape… Then she said I’ll do
the shine finish … Left air bumbled & I paid extra for it …
In the end I was overcharged & hated my nails… wanted to rip them off… Only didn’t because I was going away on vacation!
Jenny didn’t even have a clue/​get that I was unhappy … Other customers arrived & she was like next! Ladies it’s a 2 thumbs down … Really disappointed !! This is the first review I’ve ever written … That’s how mad/​upset I am! :(

Okay, so Jenny and her husband might be great, but the other employees? During a recent visit I was in the middle of a pedicure when the technician just got up and left. I assumed she was getting something and then realized that a walk-​in needing an eyebrow wax was being helped. Really? Just got up in the middle of a pedicure to take care of a wax? I was the only customer in there on a slow weekday. Clearly my time isn’t valuable. I won’t be going back.

I went to Top 10 as a walk in. What a great experience. I had Jenny wax my eye brows for me too ! She did an amazing job, best job ever ! My nails looked fabulous.

Followed jenny from Wakefield to Middleton (she went out of state for a while and never could get a replacement like Jenny !) she’s on time, fast, clean, professional and also does a fantastic job on eyebrow waxing ! Julie Realtor

I’ve been going to see jenny and andy for a couple of years now and I couldn’t be more satisfied! I originally went to them because I got a hack job on a pink and white set at another salon down the street (4 seasons) jenny did an amazing job they looked so natural everyone always asks me where I get them done. I also get my pedicures done there as well. Definitely worth the money to get the spa pedicure. It’s so relaxing! What I like most about top ten is that they treat you like a friend instead of one of those salons that you feel like you’re just on a fast paced assembly line.

Jenny and Andy are a young couple that own this salon and they do a fantastic job. The place is very clean and the prices are competitive. They have a good selection of polishes. Jenny also does waxing. After trying most of the salons in Saugus, Wakefield and Middleton, I feel this one is the best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
