Weed Man

This company makes big claims about how good they are. They are not inexpensive either. The fertilizers and application are really no better than the stuff you can put on yourself. However the weeding application people they have really cut corners. They eliminate most weeds in the center of a yard but the edges always get missed. Nobody walks in the center of the yard they walk along the edges or sidewalk… Hello! They claim on the phone that someone watches the workers. Sure they do! I’ve never seen that and if there people are that lazy that they need to be watched means they have the wrong people! Save your money and do it yourself it will look much more thorough every time!

My grass looks great and the young man who takes care of it is very friendly, courteous, and professional.

This company’s business model involves non-​stop phone calls after they give you a quote. Their model is to employ kids to go door to door asking you if you would like a free quote for lawn care. If you agree, an actual employee shows up and quotes you for service. It’s a reasonable quote and I believe they do have satisfied customers if you actually employ them to do the service. However, if you say no, you will be called at least once if not multiple times daily to harass you to sign up. If you demand to be taken off the list, they will comply, but ONLY for that season. Starting in the next fall or spring, the daily calls will start again. The company has replied on other review sites (google, etc.) that this is not their business model, and to call and they will remove you from the list, etc., etc., but it is clear from the number of reviews that state the exact same thing happening, that this IS their business model, and they aren’t changing it. Avoid this company if you don’t want to be harassed every spring and fall.
