Shenin Eyebrow Threading and Spa

A friend recommended this threading salon because her eyebrows are always perfect. The first time I went, the girl that did my eyebrows Latini I believe her name was, did my eyebrows absolutely perfect. She listened to my instruction and also noticed that one eyebrow needed hair to be left in certain spots so it could grow out and told me exactly what she was doing I was incredibly happy. The only problem was that she was only there twice a week on days I am usually not in the area. So I decided to trust other girls as the salon was spoken highly of. I went there 4 times after that.
HOWEVER… The fourth experience was YESTERDAY Sunday, November 15^th.
Mutu did my eyebrows. She had threaded my eyebrows before so I didn’t think twice to letting her do them. When she was finished, one eyebrow had a complete chunk of hair taken out and she cut it where the hair looked scraggly. With friends there with me as my witness, she said I came in the shop with my eyebrows like that. I told her that is absolutely false, and she ARGUED with me. THEN, changed her story and said that she had to make my eyebrow thinner and changed the shape. And I said, I told you to just clean it up, there was no need to change the shape and you didn’t even shape the other one the same way! Again, she kept arguing with me and did not apologize. I left the shop furious. So much so, that I returned a little while later and asked to speak to the manager or store owner. She proceeded to tell my friends and I «there is no owner». So we asked «who pays you then? that makes no sense». Then the another girl that was there says «Oh the owner». The two girls started talking to each other in their language and I stated that it was very rude to be speaking in front of us about us and not speaking English. My friend insisted that they give us the phone number to their owner because we needed them to know about what they had done to my eyebrows and how they were treating their customers. They gave us the store card with the store number and we knew very well that it wasn’t the owners phone number. My friend then let them know that she lives within walking distance and has no problem going into the salon every day until the owner is there to tell her what happened. Then Mutu (the girl who was arguing and did the bad job) started raising her voice and telling me that she wanted to take my picture. I said absolutely not. She then said that they have a security camera and they have me on camera in a threatening manner. I said I am glad this is all on camera so your owner can see how you treat your customers. My friends and I then walked out of the store and took a picture of my eyebrows and the card in which the workers write their name and the date of the service.
I have to say this was an overall bad experience for one day. The other girls I have never had a problem with doing my eyebrows. I wouldn’t completely say that the other girls don’t do a good job but Mutu is definitely not touching my face again.

I always get my brows threaded and when I tell them to clean it up I’ve never been to a place we they actually listened and didn’t do what they wanted.
And for 5 bucks you cannot go wrong.
But it was fast, she did a great job and I was in and out (super win!)
There are 2 threading salons on this block, and they are the better one.

Just got my eyebrows threaded and my lip waxed. Really love it. They look good. My eyebrows are very hard to do right and she did a great job! She was very sweet. The place is cute and also really clean. I would recommend this place and I’m coming back for sure.

Love getting my eyebrows done here. After the 8^th time you get a free eyebrow threading. I went for my first waxing, half leg and brazilian and I muat say they are extremely clean and hygienic. I will continue coming to the Crosby location.
