Best Buy

This review is for the Best Buy Mobile at the Galleria. I very rarely have negative things to say about businesses but this is important for you Unilocalers. I would not trust the sales people here. When renewing my contract for my phone I was given a «free tablet». When asked if it was really free, they said yes. Long story short it was not free as I was charged a monthly fee for a new line. When I took it back for a return, the employee did not process the return properly and I was billed for a full year! When I found out, I went in to discuss the issue with the assistant manager who gave me some attitude and told me there was nothing Best Buy could do.
AT&T was a true class act and after talking to their customer service, they refunded the money that I was being charged.
Long story short, do not buy a cell phone here! It is very easy to get charged for things that you shouldn’t because phone contracts are convoluted. The Geek Squad warranty is a complete rip off! Save your money and take your phone to the repair shop in the mall if the screen cracks. I learned this lesson the hard way.

Terrible customer service. I needed help with a computer & they didn’t even bother to ring me up

I caught them price fixing just before Black Friday last year. I was interested to buy a chest freezer for my basement. So I intentionally came there to see the prices of those freezers. They had only one that I was interested in. It was a 5.2 cu feet chest freezer by Igloo. I took the picture of the price with my cell phone. It was $ 149. Then I came back a day before black friday to see if it was on sale already. To my surprise… they actually raised the price on it. It was $ 165. So I figured them out ! They raised the price to $ 165 so they could lower it on black friday back to the original price of $ 149 and to show you that it was on sale. What a scam artists ! I called the manager of the store right away and showed him the price of that freezer on the picture on my smart phone. He didn’t know what to say and was giving me stupid excuses that the prices change all the time everywhere. So I just gave them few dirty words and left. I ended up buying the exact same freezer at Best Buy in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack the same day for $ 139 plus tax.
I know stores do these things before holidays sales all the time and I wanted to catch them and show it to them in their face! And I did. So you need to be careful next time and always observe the item you want to buy and its price few weeks before you buy it.

Went they’re to buy a microwave got that and a computer too, we were there before the crowd had arrived– Casey a most pleasant and attentive sales rep helped us out With the computer purchase. Although we’d been told at Best buy online that model wasn’t available anymore he’s took the time to research it and agreed the though not listed in the store the same model was able to be purchased at the store and shipped to our home in time for the Holidays.
