We took our almost 2 year old daughter here today and she was like a kid in a candy shop, errr a kid in a teddy bear shop is more like it. I’d honestly never been inside a build a bear workshop before, but I can see why kids love this place. First we choose an animal, DD choose Snazzy Kitty. Then we took her over to the machine to be stuffed and the staff member(who are all nicer than nice) let DD step on the pedal which controls the stuffing. Toward the end DD gets to pick out a heart, gives it a kiss and it gets stitched up inside her new best friend. After the stuffing is complete she takes her kitty over to the bath to brush off any excess lint. Once kitty is all clean we shop for accessories, we went with two pink bows for her ears to match her pink nose. Finally you sit at the computer and register your new teddy, give it a name and they print out a birth certificate which goes home in the box with you. We named our Snazzy Kitty«Jeter» since that is our DD favorite Yankee. She hasn’t put it down since we left the store. For what the entire experience costs, it’s cheaper than purchasing an already made stuffed animal and your kids will have endless fun building their own friend. We will definitely be going back here!
