Dairy Queen

Have you ever heard the expression «life is uncertain, eat dessert first»? This is what will happen if you order the 5 Buck Lunch Special. Don’t get me wrong, it is a good value and mine was delicious but it took far too long to reach the table when you considered there were no lines of people and it was almost 2:00 p.m. when I ordered it. If you come here during a lunch rush or are very hungry or pressed for time, you will be annoyed. I got my drink and then my sundae which was so delicious and creamy. The gal that took my order told me my food would be out soon and when it did come, the fries were good, but the chicken strips were excellent. This was tender, moist, real chicken that tears with a nicely done coating. The restaurant inside is probably the cleanest one I have been to in while and the music playing was enjoyable and it was a relaxing atmosphere. If you want to use the restroom, you must request a key. I guess they want to prevent vagrants from camping out in the restrooms. Did not use but it was probably just as clean as the dining room. There was one family eating there and they had very well mannered children.

Today’s visit was horrible. Put a fool on the register and it will make a lot of people unhappy. Have a sign out for Candy Cane Blizzards when you have no more candy cane mix in and you are guaranteed unhappy customer. I filled out four survey receipts and then get told I can only redeem one per day. Seriously? Bad guy on register and petty manager on duty. Have no idea why manager needed to be involved in redeeming a receipt survey offer.

Ok so I must say that I’m here at least 3 – 4 times a week because of the 5 buck lunch. My gf is hooked on the chicken strips Its way better than other fast food places because you get the food drink and ice cream for $ 5.41 with tax. If you go inside to sit it can be a little confusing. I think they do a much better job on the drive thru. Overall all the staff are great, always friendly and helpful. Just a shout out for todays day shift leader Tina. While going thru the drive thru it appeared that a few orders were getting backed up. She jumped into action and filled two orders herself and proceeded to get me thru quickly. She is a great asset and I can see why she is a leader. Kudos. Overall I go there often, the food is good the staff is friendly and the place is clean. they would get a 5 but they do need to work on the table service. drive thru is a 5

My attempt to have a «fast food» lunch here wound up being not-​so-​fast, but not necessarily for bad reasons. This place is BUSY, and the staff work hard to keep up. It feels like they need to work a bit more on their coordination and efficiency. Sometimes the people working at the cashier have to do double duty to deliver food to some of the tables, and the registers may be unoccupied for brief periods of time. But the dedication is there, and the food is good. I like the $ 5 lunch combos they currently provide, which include a drink and some soft-​serve. I like their fries here more than the fries at the «big 3» burger chains. But sometimes it takes a while to get that soft-​serve dessert. There is also a reasonably large patio at which you can sit in nice weather.

Wow… this place is very «special». It has 20 or so employees working… or present at the very least. Entrance is horribly set up. Had to repeat the order several times… adding peanut butter to a blizzard is more complicated than I realized apparently. Took a while but we did receive our tasty treats. I really think they are overscheduling the employees… or not good at directing them. First and last stop here most likely. The parking lot is also a train wreck.

I’ve never been to a Dairy Queen until now. I got a crispy chicken sandwich combo. The chicken cutlet was a good cut of solid white meat and the fries were crispy. The employees were friendly and bring the food to your table. The restaurant is brand new and kept clean. Today was a great day to enjoy their outdoor seating.
I’ll be back to try the cheese curds and ice cream.
