They are cheap and thats what counts. Cheap groceries, car stuff, health and cosmetics and pet stuff. I paid $ 1 – 2 cheaper for the same medicine here than at CVS and Giant. The store is decently maintained for a dollar store. You don’t get that feeling of trash as soon as you walk in. They keep things neat and I have run into a really friendly cashier a couple times. One weird thing is that Dollar general doesn’t accept Master Card Debit Cards as credit, you have to process it as debit (… yea, I think it’s not credit– only debit, not vice versa, lol), so if your bank charges you one way or the other for that, be aware. Other than that you can save a chunk.
