Best donuts around. I’m not sure why you would go anywhere else!

First time here and it was fabulous! What a great store. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We got a half dozen donuts. I love how there is a very simple ordering sheet so you can mark off exactly what you wanted for each and every donut. I love how the donut is fresh and the toppings are put on fresh and right when you order it. I never like the icing at other places when the icing is already on the donut and the donut sits on display for long time then the icing is hardened from sitting there. You get an extremely fresh tasting donut here. The cake like donut is superb and the toppings just make them over the top good! This place is a must try. Great place to bring the kids because they can pick out their own combination of toppings and watch them make it right in front of you. Their own coffee is excellent! I don’t even like butterscotch and this was really good and I enjoyed the flavor. Defiantly worth the try if you enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Very reasonable prices for the donuts and coffee. Don’t worry about not finishing them all and then they don’t taste as great later on or the next day. They sat in the box the rest of the day and when I wanted another 12 hours old I went by the directions on the box put it in the microwave for ten seconds and it tasted like I just bought them again.

Yummm… freshly made, hot doughnuts! You can get any icing or toppings that you want. I like the French Toast and cinnamon bun flavored ones… and the vanilla with rainbow spinkles… and the peanut butter. Really, you can’t go wrong here as long as you like doughnuts. If you pick them up to eat later, you can put them in the microwave and it’s just about the same fresh taste. They also offer coffee and cold drinks here but that’s about it. I believe there are one or two tables to sit at, most take them to go. If you think dunkin donuts are good, this will take you to another level. They are reasonably priced too. I highly recommend!

In a sea of Dunkin Donuts, any variety is appreciated. If you want the freshest donuts possible, this is the place. One downside is that they only use one type of batter, so fans of chocolate donuts may be disappointed. However, their batter is quite nice, so I have no complaints. All donuts are made to order then coated in your choice of toppings – it’s great.

Pretty solid donut shop. donuts are always tasty warm and fresh …but doesn’t compare to Broad Street in Oakhurst.

Im rating this on my family’s reaction to Duck Donuts… really great! Walked in as I was wondering what the place was all about and wanted to bring my family a treat. Donuts are made fresh and to order. Oh did I wish I wasn’t gluten free because the amazing smell of these donuts fresh out of the donut magic oven are dreamy. Someone was making the batter and adding to the donut machine and someone else ices/tops them for each customer. The place was really buzzing today, I waited about 10 minutes for hand dipped donuts which were boxed warm for take out. Arrived home and they were quickly sampled. Vanilla was a favorite. Unilocal Check in and you get a free donut with any order.

Who ever thought of this place is the best scammer there could possibly be. White cake mix with icing for every doughnut flavor. This place reminds me of a drink I heard of in NYC, quarter water. It was colored water in small plastic containers passed along as ‘juice’, these doughnuts should be sold for a nickel and called nickel dough because it is the cheapest cheesiest piece of dough I have ever seen.

I love donuts and this place? They do it as well as anyone. I tend to get the Beach donut which is like a sugary vanilla donut… amazing. Also had the Reece’s donut. It was just the right amount of peanut butter and chocolate. Their glazed donuts are so simple and yet so delicious. And you have to love that every thing is made to order. You will always get a hot and fresh donut. The price is also perfectly fine and the staff is always so nice. The only donut I have disliked was the Maple Bacon, it was just covered in way too much bacon but I’m sure plenty of people would like that.

Had a chance to visit Duck Donuts again but this time bringing along two of my cousins and my sister. We decided to go light and share three donuts amongst us four and they were the Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Cup, and Maple Bacon donuts. Peanut Butter was pretty good. Nice warm soft dough, just the right sweetness, but my only gripe was that the peanut butter flavor in the glaze was fairly mild and the donut was definitely more sweet than savory. Peanut Butter Cup was a solid donut as well. Much more peanut butter taste which balanced the sweetness of the glaze. Donut texture was a tad denser(more cake-like) than the Peanut Butter(more like a yeast donut) which was fine. The Maple Bacon donut was amazing. The sweet glaze and fresh smokey bacon bits really paired well together and made for one of the best donuts I’ve ever eaten. The donut’s texture was more like the Peanut Butter donut mentioned above(yeast donut) which was appreciated as a denser donut with bacon would probably feel way too heavy. Yes this donut was awesome; a definite must try! Tip: Eat these while still warm!

Amazing, made to order donuts! They are always hot and fresh and just taken out of the frier everytime! All the toppings they have are great and the maple bacon is by far my favorite. Nice little local business that is making a big wake in the area. They have coffee and other drinks and also make breakfast sandwiches which I have yet to try. The donuts are so much fresher than Dunkin donuts or 7-eleven and have so many more options of toppings to choose from like peanut butter icing and bacon crumbles for the top!

I had never had freshly made donuts before and they were orgasmic. I ordered a dozen of vanilla coconut, chocolate with rainbow sprinkles, cinnamon sugar and the day’s French toast special. I ate most of them myself over the course of two days and I am not ashamed of that.

I was so happy to come across our OBX fave right in our backyard! If you’re looking for hot-out-of-the-fryer, crisp, oozey-iced doughnuts, this is the place! My personal favorite is the glazed with coconut flakes. Hubs likes maple with peanuts or bacon. They have a great two doughnut+coffee combo for when you need to grab and go!

My coworker recommended this place to me so since we were in the area, we decided to give it a try. Am I glad we did, this place is amazing! I don’t think I can ever go back to regular Dunkin Donuts again. I love the ease of ordering with just a form. They were quick and you were able to watch the whole process. I definitely tried the maple bacon donut and it is to die for. A mix of sweet and salty was the perfect combination. I highly recommend this place if you ate evert in the Matawan area or any of its other locations. Having fresh, warm donuts is seriously the best. Wish there was one closer to me.

You need to drive to this place. And you need to try everything. But especially maple bacon. And you will not be disappointed. It’s all amazing. The breakfast sandwiches are ok, but what are you doing not ordering a donut? Order a donut, you won’t regret it.

I came here in the late afternoon after a picnic in Thompson Park hoping to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ordering is simple and easy. Decide how many donuts you want, the flavored glaze and a topping! The base of the donut is all the same so you can be creative with your toppings. Maple bacon donut: Duck Donuts doesn’t skimp on the bacon! There was lots of meaty crumbled bacon on my donut. It was precooked so the bacon wasn’t crispy. Nonetheless, the salty and sweet combination was mouthwatering! Strawberry glaze with sprinkles: The strawberry flavor was faint but the rainbow sprinkles added a nice crunch and crunch to the soft interior. Lemon with peanuts: Again, lemon flavor was faint. I liked how the peanuts were roughly chopped. Nutty with a slight zing from the lemon. Lemon with coconut: Generous portion of shredded coconut added chewiness to the cake like donut. Peanut butter with chocolate sprinkles: My second favorite after the maple bacon donut! Iced coffee: I needed something to wash down my yummy donuts. Naturally, I opted for the iced coffee and it didn’t disappoint! I’d say it was a medium to dark brew, I love strong coffee. They serve it black and you can add cream, milk and sugar at the self serve station to the left of the counter. Overall, I really enjoyed my half dozen of duck donuts! I shared it with my family so we could all get a little taste of everything! The donuts were not too sweet and the quality is definitely an upgrade from your local Dunkin Donuts. The texture is super soft and cake like. Some people say the donuts are a little small but I think they are the perfect size since they are super rich. Duck Donuts also has daily special flavors of the day. On the Friday that I went, it was a Reese’s donut! Can you say yum?! Freshly made when you order and they even have a basket of cinnamon sugar donuts to try while you’re watching your donuts getting fried, dipped and coated! This place isn’t meant for large groups as there was only one round table inside and some seats outside pressed against the storefront. It’s more of a grab and go deal, not a sit down café.

Get em’ while the’re hot! I’ve sampled take out donuts from here since my nephew works in this plaza but with my first chance to visit I can say I’m impressed. This is a terrific establishment. The shop is open bright and cheerful, it’s also well thought out except there’s only one table and 4 chairs. The people are friendly happy and helpful. My strawberry lemon donut is hot and scrumptious. This place get the FoodDude warm seal of approval and is sure to warm your heart and raise your glucose level. Come on in and get ready for a hot steaming good time!

These warm made to order donuts are DANGEROUSLY good! I love donuts and these donuts are killer. All of them have the same base donut that is made fresh and served UBER warm and delicious. I kid you not, upon my first bite… the skies cleared, sun began shining, and the birds sang. The food goods gave me a little piece of donut paradise. Otherwise, service was quick and helpful. Priced reasonably(got 3 for about $ 3.50). Only complaint is they could be bigger. See my photos for individual donut impressions. So make a trip to duck donuts and get atleast a half dozen. You won’t regret it because these things are gone before you know it.

We heard about this place from a newspaper article so we were exciting about trying out a made to order donut shop. Donuts were yummy, I was expecting out of this world outrageously delicious but they were good not amazing. Ordered 6 donuts, don’t get me wrong they were good but not lays can’t eat less than one good. Actually my kid who was so excited about seeing her donut being made and iced but once she sat down to eat, she only had one of her two donuts. Now this may not seem like such a big deal to you, but you haven’t met my kid who will trade anything for donut. And truth be told, we bribe her with donuts. you can wipe that look off your face now, seriously stop judging my parenting skills, don’t knock it till you try it. works great for the dog too! :) Enough about parent of the year qualities, lets get back to the donuts. The topping choices were not as plentiful as we would have liked, and we imagined the experience to be more interactive but were disappointed. I was imagining a Disney World magical place but donut version, where your imagination met your tastebuds and you skipped into the sunset with a chocolate bacon mustache. too much huh? You can’t fault a girl for dreaming! Speaking of chocolate bacon, that one was ok but quality of chocolate wasn’t the best. Many other aspects seem cheapie. The quality of the coffee, the souvenir shop, the really bad paint job in the bathroom, the mismatch outdoor furniture, the trinkets next to the register. maybe it’s just me that looks at these things as part of the overall package. In our family, we love our donuts and for a craving will travel to Delaware for some crack donuts .I mean Krispy Kreme donuts. Would I visit duck donuts. sure but would I drive all the way to Middletown just for duck donuts more than likely not. Also the hours are weird, the day we first made the trip they were closed at 3pm.strange.
