I needed a new remote and safety eye for my wife’s side of the garage. My technician Keith, was quick to respond. He called when he was on his way arriving when expected. He provided a complete overview of what was needed and installed exactly that. I would definitely recommend this company and Keith.

Thanks for all your hard work. You guys are awesome. They turned our 2 single doors into 1 large opening. We can finally pull both our cars in.

I scheduled a service call with Gary on Wednesday, 10/22/2014 for Thursday 10/23/2014. At least, I thought I was scheduling a service call. I told him that my garage door was making a loud banging noise when it opened, and that I had a coupon for a service call for $ 29.95, and he said he would make a note of it in the system. What he did not tell me was that a service call consists of someone coming to my house and not touching anything. The service man came out, watched the door open and close a couple of times, sprayed some lubricant on the tracks and hinges, and put three screws in my door. This cost me $ 130. I was pretty sure the service man was mistaken, so I called and talked to Gary, who explained to me that a «service call» covers the gas and time for someone to get there, but not do anything. Doesn’t sound like any«service» is covered in the«service call.» He went on to tell me that I hadn’t asked him specifically what was included in a service call, so he wasn’t obligated to tell me. Nice. Turns out, I hadn’t scheduled a service call, but the fact that I told Gary that I had a coupon for a service call didn’t prompt him to say, «Just so you know, a service call doesn’t actually include any service whatsoever.» Had he told me that there was a minimum labor charge on my first call, I probably would have scheduled the call anyway, but I wouldn’t have been so irritated when the service man told me it was $ 130 when I was expecting to pay $ 29.95. As a special bonus, by the time I was done talking to Gary on the phone and walked back to the van to pay my bill, the service man was already on the phone with Gary, verifying that I had talked with him and letting him know that he was done and getting ready to move on to the next job. Gary was explaining that I was an idiot with no grip on reality if I thought someone would just come out and spend ten minutes at my house for $ 29.95 just because that’s what their advertising says. It’s a shame that this company feels a need to hide facts from their customers. It shows a lack of faith in the value that they are providing. In the end, my garage door is probably in good working order as a result of the work done by this company, but their ethics a sorely lacking, so I would not recommend them to anyone for anything, ever.
