Came up from Chico to meet up with some friends from Ukiah. This is a long course. We played from the back Ts and it was a long day. Really fun but if you have an index over 15, play it forward from the white Ts. There are a few par threes that an average golfer can’t reach from the back. I had a great round and would tell any good golfer to give it a try. A few points Course needs a drink like all of the state; water is needed. Why are some sand traps fluffy and full of soft white sand, and some full of red lava rock? This was strange.

This golf course is beautiful and the pro shop is helpful. Great package to stay at twin pines and golf here. Dont miss out on this gem.

Easily one of the most beautiful golf courses I have played on. Green fairways with well maintained grass, almost like a carpet. Off the fairway into the rough, the grass is long and healthy. Tons of deer roaming and spectacular views of the region from high atop hole 14 or 15, this course is a great get-away for the avid golfer. 1) The pro-shop. The guy at the proshop was understanding and very helpful with getting us going on the round. My buddy who booked the 4 some had some credit card problem so I paid half and my GF paid the other half, it was no problem. He even gave us 2 tokens for 2 small buckets of balls to warm up with. 2) The course. Nestled between houses and next to 2 lane highways, this course has some of the most wide open holes I have had the pleasure to play on. Our group was slow(2 beginners) so we did skip a hole or two to put a gap between us and the group behind.(I hate waiting and I did not want to hold up anyone either). Water features and long par 4s-5s made this course exceptionally fun for my lady and I. I have golfed for roughly 3 years with a more serious tone, and she is finishing her first summer of playing golf regularly. We both had some great drives, lost a few balls in backyards, and gave a few up to the water hazards. 3) The rates. My buddy booked it using«Golf Now» and I guess it was $ 29 a person including cart! Thats a legit price for 18(Twilight time, we started at 4pm) and I would not recommend starting any later because it was dark by the time we finished the last hole(even after skipping 3 – 4 holes) 4) Will I go back? Hells yes! Id love to hit this place on a cooler morning around 9 or 10 and playing till 2 pm. The greens were fantastic, the fairways were plush, and I know we are in a drought, but they keep their course looking fresh. Thank you!

I hit a bucket of balls here once on the practice range but I’m not a golfer so I’ll talk about the restaurant. I have eaten at their a fair number of times when we visit friends in the area, normally for breakfast. Good, not fantastic, food with good sized portions and friendly service. On Friday and Saturday nights they have prime rib so some Sunday morning they have prime rib and eggs.
