Hate to say it but this place was an absolute favorite for us since it opened but on our three most recent visits something disappointing has occurred. It started one visit with the carne asada plate. The meat which normally has no fat or grease was now loaded with fat and gristle and tasted freezer burned. Very upsetting as this use to be my favorite dish. Then on second trip fearful of the carne asada I had the grilled shrimp and again very disappointed. I swear someone ate half my shrimp before I got the plate as it only had a few shrimp on the plate which normally comes with a good amount of shrimp. The third and final time was when I had the choriqueso appetizer which usually comes with a nice amount of chorizo. This time only a tiny bit sprinkled over the cheese. Not good at all with out the proper amount of chorizo. Frustrated this final time I complained to the server who explained they had recently switched their food supplier to save cost. I understand the need to stay profitable but to sacrifice quality and quantity in the name of profit is a foolish move on the part of ownership because how do you expect the business to survive long term if you change everything that made you great only to save a few dollars while losing your loyal customer base. I hope ownership reads this and immediately makes changes to increase quality by going back to what they use to do best instead of taking shortcuts. Maybe when I see reviews indicating they have reversed course I will return but until then I’m out. Hopefully they make the changes before they lose the business for good.

Never again. Not a fan and food was not good. We were very dissatisfied and will stick with our regular place despite having to travel a bit. Does not even compare to other places, and that’s not a compliment.

Well after a strange morning heading to Helens sausage house finding out its closed on sundays and after making a quick and wise exit out of Smyna diner, we came here. Very colorful and cheery place to come. We had read that help was not that nice but I think it’s just bc their English isn’t the best. Our waitress was kind. My hubby got the beef quesadilla. He liked but couldn’t eat very easily and I got the quesadilla carnitas I liked it, buy next time I’ll try something else. The menu is huge! We also the #2 appetizer that was yummy. The chips and salsa, addictive!!! I wish I could make salsa like that!!! We will be returning when we are in this area again. we also tried going to cantwells but we were way under dressed so made a quick exit from there too. I’m looking forward to getting dressed and returning. It looked like a great place.

The California burrito is the best thing on the menu! Get it! Staff is not super friendly, but they get the job done. Some of my old friends from high school have made this a get together spot of sorts, and the atmosphere is great for that. There are a few things that hold this place back getting being really great, but the food is not one of them.

I’m from south Arizona so I’m very picky with Mexican food around here. This place is actually pretty good and authentic. I could eat their chips and salsa all day. They have fun Mexican cocktails too.

A nice Mexican restaurant and not part of a chain. The interior is gaily decorated. Makes me feel like I am someplace special. They have nice crisp tortilla chips accompanied by a good salsa as soon as you are seated. The menu choices are the usual Mexican restaurant ones, k although they do have some unique ones, which I recommend trying. I had a pulled pork special with a mango sauce and mango slices. The pork was very tender and the entire meal was good. They have a full bar with the usual Mexican beers and magaritas. A nice festive place!

My First time here and we came later in the evening. My boyfriend and son had eaten here previously. This time Service was slow even though there were only three tables seated. We ordered an appetizer and they forgot to bring the flour tortillas that were supposed to be with it. The salsa had a nice little kick to it. My enchiladas were ok but my son’s burrito was better than the last time they were in. My boyfriends meal was excellent and the margaritas was decent. My son had flan for dessert and he said it was nothing like the last time he was in. It looked old. I’m going to come earlier in the evening and try again. The«cheese» dip was a waste of money.

Food was tasty and fairly priced. The service was mediocre; additionally, they had technical problems at the register, so our group waited longer than anticipated for our bill. I would visit again, and recommend others. There was plenty of parking.
