Service was terrible. Bartender actually told the people I was with to get out if they didn’t like their drink. Just rude staff all around. Not a place that my «kind» can go and feel like you are welcomed. They will never get money from me again.

Was here a few weeks ago, Good drinks, good food, awesome bartenders. Just be sure to go when the owner isn’t there. Loud, immature, and creepy. I walked in as he was making the staff massage him. Definitely made an uncomfortable environment. Most likely will not be returning. One star for what I see as sexual harassment

If you’re hungry on a Wednesday and fixin’ for some wings, Mad Murphy’s has the ones that will make you sing. A local bar off of Middletown’s beaten path, You’ll want to take the tasty wing sauce and swim in a full bath. All I think about at work on Wednesdays is Mad Murphys’ Wingsdays: 40 cents for all wings. You could also get $ 7 domestic pitchers but I don’t drink Coors or Bud. You must order your wings in batches of 10 per sauce, so 20 wings comes out to be an $ 8 dinner for two. Our«go to» is 10 Mild and 10 Pterodactyl. The Mild are very tasty without an overpowering pepper taste. The Pterodactyl are a combination of Hot, BBQ, and Teriyaki. They are definitely spicy but what a killer kombo of flavor! Other flavor options are Parmesan Garlic(also tasty), Hot, and Teriyaki. All wings are big and crispy with a lot of sauce. They all come with celery, bleu cheese, and wet naps… you’ll be able to wipe the sauce off your face but not the smile! Beer prices are average. At this point they have Goose Island Honkers Ale an Harpoon IPA which are $ 5 each and average domestic drafts for cheaper. Usually there are specials on shots as well. On weekends this place isn’t too crazy… at least not as of recently. People go to drink and play pool upstairs. Not my favorite bar; I’ll stick to Wingsdays.

I passed by Mad Murphy’s many times and had thought about trying it but always put it off. I read some great reviews so decided to try it. I got Honey BBQ wings based on the bartender’s recommendations. They which were amazing(bursting with flavor, crispy and not soggy like some other places)…some of the best wings that I’ve ever had! The bartender was very friendly as well. All in all a great experience and I’ll be coming back.

I went on a Tuesday night after hearing my roommate rave about this place. I was not disappointed. All beers were $ 2.50(Tuesday night special), and tasted fresh. The service was good, the music was good, the outdoor patio was awesome, and it was quiet enough to sit and talk with friends. My only negative comment is that the patrons were a bit too drunk and sloppy for my tastes. I plan to come back on a weekend to check out the scene then, and perhaps try the food. I imagine this would be a great bar to come to watch a sporting event.
