We live in town and have gone to the ice ring a few times, which is good. So we had nothing to do and figured we would try the pool. Wow… what a train wreck. 4 people $ 48, and left after 1 hour we couldn’t take it. They had a band, which sounds cool until you heard them. As they were forcing the crowd of 30 people to sing along, the singer was also a Howard Stern wannabe making off color drinking and cocaine jokes. Yes it’s a byob pool, which adds another family friendly atmosphere. They didn’t open the kids pool, I assume because attendance is so low staffing lifeguards would be too expensive. Again forcing your 3 year old to be in the byob area with the wedding singer band. I’m glad we finally went because we were always curious, but I will build a backyard pool before coming back here.

A few weeks ago I attended a hockey benefit at Middletown Sports Complex for«Mikey Strong 23». Great facility to watch a hockey game. I mean your right on top of the action. While it was a friendly game; it was fun to watch players right on the glass. Great afternoon. I am not sure if they cater to other sports; batting cage, basketball, etc., but easy facility to get to. Plenty of parking. If your a hockey player and live in the area, this is a go to place to play and practice. Support Mikey Strong 23
