Basic pizza joint. The pie is good, the beer is cold, and they are not a large chain, which is good. Overall, a decent place to eat.

Tried to have dinner here to give back to the community after the valley fire. The service was terrible. We sat at the bar, and regretted it. Our server was rude, making rude comments about us «not being from the area» and obviously«not losing anything in the fire.» My girlfriend took exception to being judged this way, since she lives in Hidden Valley. The beer was warm, and when I requested another beer, the server used the same glass. She was drinking behind the bar, and was too preoccupied with her friends and drinking with them, than giving even mediocre service. Later we found out she is the managers wife. Apparently this gives her the right to act inappropriately and rude. I will never waste my money here again. Waste of time. Pizza wasn’t very good, beer was warm, and the service terrible. Not to mention the bar area, bathrooms and tables were dirty and disgusting. Don’t waste your time.

We sat at the bar & had really great bar service from Brandi, the bartender. She delivered our hot fresh food very quickly and even added an extra item at the last minute. Brandi was super helpful the whole time and kept our beers full. Speaking of beers, we enjoyed the delicious homemade honey wheat beers all evening; happy hour was three dollars a pint, what a great deal. I had the special, which was a chicken pesto sandwich with curly fries. Both were delicious. My husband had the bacon Canadian burger and he enjoyed it.

I come here every at chance when I’m in the area and every time I have enjoyed the atmosphere of the establishment, the vibes of the staff, and most importantly the amazing delicious pizza.

The food here is pretty darned good, the service is adequate as well, I just wish that they had their own beer to drink(as it is a brewery) apparently that will be sorted out in the near future. I can’t wait to try some of their house brews, who knows. Maybe they already are, as my visit was over 2 months ago. My favorite aspect of this place is the relaxing atmosphere, it is definitely a chill place to hang out and have a couple cold ones.

I was really hoping this place was going to be better I went to this place in my teens when it first opened and it was an amazing place!!! But now it’s cheap no more glass just plastic cups no more actual silverware the plates are plastic too The service is horrible what there is of it the food is somehow cheap in a matter of speaking the selection isn’t great and the price for what they give you is way out of proportion with what I paid I expected to be in San Francisco at a five-star restaurant The place has a funny noise to it I don’t know if it’s the fans or the ovens but it almost feels like you have to yell to whomever you’re with I will never be going back to this place!

I was surprised that a restaurant with«Brewing Company» as part of its name didn’t actually produce or sell any of its own beers. There were about 10 beers from other California and Oregon breweries on tap. Food was okay; typical pub-grub quality stuff.

The food here is totally uninspired, and they are not currently brewing their own beer(though they claim that their first batch in about 5 years will be available soon). Had a burger — terrible. I’m pretty sure it was one of the frozen ones you get in the supermarket. The only salad dressings available are cream based — thousand island, bleu cheese, etc. When I asked for oil & vinegar, they could only find malt vinegar. The salad was iceberg lettuce, some shaved carrots, and half a tomato. French fries were terrible. But I must admit that the boneless buffalo wings rocked. Atmosphere was local. Everyone there knew each other. Sounds nice, but I was clearly viewed as an outsider.

There are great people working here. Locals galore– and locals here in Middletown are friendly! Pizza is awesome– always get double crust ! They don’t brew but have a good selection of taps to choose from !

Let me start by saying their is absolutely no customer service at all! /no brewery either. The place was dirty and unorganized ~ when our pizza came out it looked great but the dough was freezer burned and super crunchy like peanut brittle~ their was no point in complaining the place was being ran by people who look to incompetent to understand. Its a shame that the pizza sucks! When you are in a location with so much fresh ingredients around. This place needs Restaurant Impossible!

I have enjoyed several meals here. The pizza and salads are good. The burgers and sandwiches are ok. The burgers are frozen and pre-made so you can’t order the meat cooked to order. Service is friendly and basic. This restaurant is good for larger groups where you want to talk and enjoy louder company. Great for kids to run around. it’s one of the few restaurants open on Monday evenings.

What can I say? It’s Not a Brewery as advertised period . I looked them up here on Unilocal as I was planing my stay in Middletown going to Harbin Hot-springs in the morning, Hoping for some great home-brew not here, disappointed . The sign out front says(Brewery) totally misleading Not a Brewery. They do have some guest taps the only thing saving them . The Beer tender was quite apologetic about them not brewing(2years) I had a burger and fries $ 9 not worth it ! I would not go back, there are other restaurants around the area that look promising though . Just my opinion, Good Luck Folks

What can I say? It’s a brewery that also serves up pizza and burger type food. The veggie burger is actually surprisingly good. My gf had the pasta which she said was decent. Unfortunately it’s setup in a way that you have to order and pay upfront so when you want a second round of beers, you’re forced to go back up and reorder from the same unfriendly kids that originally ignored you when you first placed your order. Unless you choose to sit at the small bar in order to avoid the hassle Oh, and minus another star for their decision to get rid of the beer sampler platter which was my favorite part of my last visit there.

All we had were beers and pizza. Pizza was ok for a brewery. I recommend the IPA — as I always do anyway. They served this at the Twin Pine Casino. Since they did, I thought I would try it at the actual brewery restaurant. Not bad at all! Don’t make the 29 south drive if you have more than one IPA. You may fall over the side of the road.

Worth the windy Hwy 29 drive. Its nice for such a small town to have its own brewing facility. The beer was a great surprise. Honey Wheat Ale, IPA, and Stout were all worth a pint or two. I was really impressed with the quality of beer. The just lost their brewer so no case to go. Hope the figure things out. Large style dining hall with plenty of seating. The place was pretty empty and the food was good/okay for the price.

There’s nothing special about Mt St. Helena Brewing Co. The food is mostly fried and the pizza is terrible. It’s like eating a frozen cardboard pizza. I’m happy there is the option of going out for pizza in Middletown but I would rather bake a frozen pizza at home, it’ll taste better. The beer I’ve had at the brewery is some of the worst I’ve ever had. I think it must be an acquired taste. If you want to meet up with friends then Mt. St. Helena Brewing Co., would be the best place to meet because it’s so big inside. If you are hungry and wanting pizza, grab a frozen pizza, go to Round Table in Lakeport, or Mary’s Pizza Shack in Santa Rosa to get a decent pizza because you aren’t going to find it here. Bleh.
