It’s been some time, so we gave Nino’s another try. Still terrible. Reheated Sysco garbage. Any of the many other options are better — Caruso’s, Middletown Pizza, Immediato’s. Hopefully the soon to open Grotto’s will force Nino’s to finally serve something edible.

Bad. Absolute cabbage. Never get my order right. Over charge Half the time. Forget to bring things in delivery. Pizza is always cold because they cook and serve it before the rest of your meal. Refuse to go again.

Just ordered delivery and I was the 400th caller… goes to show they are super popular, but they gave me 4.00 off my order! Doesnt seem like much, but when you arent expecting it, its pretty sweet!

We had a large sausage and peppers sandwich for lunch today. It was by far the worst thing I’ve ever had. They microwaved the sandwich with the smallest amount of sausage I never seen before. I don’t think I will never go back again.

Pizza is great here. One of my favorite things about this place is the free garlic knots, they’re awesome. French fries with old bay and a pizza. Yum

We moved into Middletown in October 2012. We ordered pizza from here thinking it would be similar to the pizza in Wilmington where we previously lived. Boy were we disappointed. It took over an hour to get the pizza and when it did show up it was cold, sloppy and when you picked up a slice half the ingredients would slide off. The delivery driver was less than friendly. Some say this is as good as it gets in Middletown. If that’s true, we will be trying another town.

We hit up Nino’s on a rest stop while road tripping up north for the holidays. Two slices of pizza and a bottle of water came in at $ 5 — pretty sweet deal. The pizza slices were huge and piping hot — we got them straight out of the oven, definitely the way to go. No skimping on the cheese at this place! Nino’s pizza tasted so good going down(despite the grease dripping everywhere down our fingers and hands), but we definitely felt a bit unhealthy once our slices were polished off. Still, for the price and service, this was a satisfying stop for a bite.

Don’t let the stripmall type setting fool ya, very nice place. It’s a pizza/entrée place but the setting is more entrée. Although the pizza is some of the best around. The bread knots they serve before dinner are outstanding. The dinner salad is average, probably the weakest part of the dinner we had tonight. I got the spaghetti classico which is basically spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. It was good, the sausage was very tasty. My wife got the gnocchi caprese, and said it was just ok. The presentation of it looked delicious, but I’m not a fan of that dish so I didn’t try it. Our son had a small pepperoni pizza and it was excellent.

We used to order a lot from Papa Johns, but since they thought 8 miles was to far to deliver we switched to Nino’s We enjoy Nino’s take-out. Pizza it’s always been good, I do like their White Pizza. Their Salad crisp and fresh(love it). Baked pasta. very good. Granddaughter loves their Chicken Parm. Delivery person always friendy

This used to be our favorite delivery in Middletown, but something happened in the last year. The food had become tasteless and portions stingy, it’s generally cold, the order is wrong and the delivery drivers are rude. We’ve sworn the place off. Try Roma’s, much better.

«Primarily a takeout/delivery joint»??? Just not so. Fine dining-in experience. Crab & Shrimp dip is about the best appetizer anywhere. Voted Readers Choice & Best in Delaware multiple times for a reason.

While staying at the Hampton, I ordered the Veal Parmesan dinner. It cost 14.99 and came with a side salad and garlic knots. The veal parm was cook perfectly and the sauce was plentiful and sweet. Good balance. The pasta was a thin spaghetti, not over cooked, but not aldente. I would recommend going here if you are in the mood for Italian food that isn’t pretentious.

Had excellent FRESH pizza at Nino’s for take out today at very reasonable prices. We got a large plain cheese and a large white veggie pizza which cost $ 20. Delicious sauce and great lighter crust. Will be back for more!

I’ll just say it: Nino’s in Middletown is about as good as it gets when it comes to Italian(in Middletown). The first time I ate there I did not have very high expectations, but they certainly corrected that quickly! I have since been back multiple times and won’t hesitate to have pizza delivered. They even have two separate sides: one for sit-down dining and one for take out. I love this place! Service: Good, friendly service. Food: Very good food. Portion sizes were a little small in my opinion, but my wife will argue otherwise, so no complaints there, I suppose. The last time I was there had a Hawaiian Personal Pan Pizza which was very good. My only real complaint is that they tend to keep the dining room very cold. I’ve been there about three times each time it has been very cold. Highly recommend if you’re going out in Middletown for lunch or dinner. Currently my favorite restaurant in Middletown. Edit: I’ve since had the pizza delivered several times and each time I find myself more disappointed. I’m not sure if they changed their pizza recipes or if my house is just too far out in the delivery zone. But the pizza is just not good anymore.
