I can’t believe I am only now realizing that this awesome liquor store exists. I mean I knew this used to be a Foodtown, and I knew there was a liquor store here… I just did not put two and two together and realize that the liquor store was the size of a GROCERY store!!! This is a pretty cool spot to wander around and check out the selection. I meandered around for 15 minutes in awe– who knew there was a beer oasis in Middletown?! I’ve seen liquor stores this big in Colorado, but I’ve never seen one with a growler filling station! I thought that was pretty awesome. I did notice that the prices are a little higher than at other nearby stores, but if you’re looking for something hard to find it’s probably worth a trip over here!

I was here last Wednesday (a day before Thanksgiving). I asked if they were expecting Stone Enjoy By 12.21.12 I was told they were not sure and to try back next week because they hadn’t heard from their distribution center… meanwhile the guy I asked walked outside to talk to the «beer manager» who was outside overlooking a beer delivery that was going on while I was there. I went in today Tuesday the 27^th to see if they heard anything especially since many places received shipments yesterday. I was told by three employees «You should have been here Wednesday, we only received two cases and we got them then…»!!! Um… excuse me
…I was there Wednesday… and I was told it wasn’t coming in until next week??? WTF??? At this point I can only assume that since they didn’t receive much the store sold it off to personnel and not the public… which is screwed up since the staff told me to try back… I’ve been shopping here a good long while… after this I do believe I’ll be going to Bottle King or Wine Academy…

Don’t let the clown scare you! I popped in there last weekend in search one very specific beer that I was unable to locate anywhere else. They did not have it either. However they do have a ton of other beers, both popular and craft brews.
Not only do they have a large selection of warm and cold beers, they also have a huge selection of wine, probably the largest in the area. I cannot comment any further on the wine specifically because I am not knowledgeable of it but there was a lot of it. The selection of alcoholic spirits was on the small side but
reasonably priced, according to the wife unit.
I asked an employee if they can order the beer that I was looking for and they said that they would try and get back to me. It’s been a few days and still have not
heard anything yet.
They also have a growler service. 6 beers were on tap when I went in, however the one that I wanted a growler of, was finished. I don’t remember the pricing on the growler either but it was reasonable. Maybe it was in the $ 20 — 30 range and
a refill was $ 15. I’m not sure though.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable in my opinion.
I’ll probably make this my «go to» beer store, even though its not the closest to my house.

Yeah, great beer selection. I stumbled upon the place purely by accident. I mean i know it was there but i didn’t realize the selection of beer it has. I found that out by my beer cloud app. and was very happy about it. Great place.

If you are a Kevin Smith fan this is the liquor store for you. The clown from the opening scene of Clerks II is in the parking lot of this liquor store. In fact the clown was left over from when Spirits Unlimited used to be a Food Town grocery store.
This is one big liquor, wine and beer store. Well stocked and reasonably priced.
