The prices seemed really high for well worn and used clothing items. Hubby said that it smelled like a dirty diaper when he passed by the fitting rooms. They had a large assortment of furniture in the back and honesty, it was priced too high and I have seen better items put out at curbside during a large trash pick up day. Not my cup of tea at all, won’t be going back ever.

Wow I just waited on line for almost a half hour watching the slowest two women ring people up. If you can’t chat and count money maybe you shouldn’t be chatting? Anywhere else and they’d already be fired. I know this place has good intentions and all, but time is money and I think I’d rather go shop somewhere else. Saw two others just leave the line and walk out in disgust. Plus their home goods selection is always horrible and they are very picky about what they will take as donations. Meh not impressed at all.

VERY impressed with this new and improved Salvation Army. The workers work hard to keep it clean and organized. It is HUGE!!! and the prices are good for the most part. Certain days, certain items are on sale. (I just got a LENOX picture frame for $ 1. retail would be about $ 60). The drop off donation area is very easy to access with a counter like at the airports for your luggage. But the best thing is that they are open until 8pm! I believe they are trying to compete with the retail stores (and why shouldn’t they???) I have found so many bargains and treasures there! Thank you for a great shopping experience!

This is a large Salvation Army drop off location in Middletown, NY. On route 211 East. Just past the malls.
Drop off is in the back area, with alot of room for many cars, so its pretty easy that way. Sometimes the people who work there come and help you bring things in, sometimes they don’t. I’m not sure what drives that either way, but its nice when they do.
Its a clean facility, new, they moved there about 2 years ago or so.
They take your gently used items and resell them in the store out front, which is also well kept and organized.
