I refuse to give any stars! I had the Sunday paper delivered for quite a few years and service was decent. All of a sudden they changed delivery services and the paper went from my front door to the bottom of my driveway and also to the middle of the yard in the snow! Delivery guy wont get out of car and shows up late morning. Then price went up to almost $ 4 for 1 lousy paper. Not worth any paper good or bad! I called and canceled subscription and thats when nightmare began! They had 3 different telemarket agencies calling my home 5 to 6 times per day. When i asked them to stop calling they hung up on me and kept calling, after 9pm waking my 5 year old which was last straw! They finally stopped when I called the middletown office every hour for three days until they took action. Didnt even apologize and told me that they had a right to keep calling me because I did business with them in the past! Does not make any sense but I guess that makes me the bad guy for giving it back to them! Stay away from the paper!

I really have no quarrel wilt the paper itself, but please be aware. Once they. get your name/​telephone you can never get rid of the aggressive calls to get you to subscribe. It’s almost a desperate tactic by them. I have even threatened to go to the NYS AG office and still the calls come. Better get your news from the newsstand or deli on the days you feel like reading the paper. For me, lately, that’s maybe twice a week.

I did get the Record delivered to my home, untill I called about a late delivery in Sept. the call was sent to another Country. Whats up with that. if you do get home delivery you still have to pay for the Record online. Who made up that rule. There are many other newspapers in the Hudson valley now. This was the #1 paper in the Hudson valley at one time. Sorry to see it change, I was a customer for 31 years.
