Acqua Pools, Inc.

My first experience with this company was pretty terrible. To be fair this experience occurred during Memorial Day weekend, and perhaps the busy season made it difficult for them to accommodate.
I called with a request to backwash, vacuum, and chemically treat an in-​ground pool that we had just opened for the season. long story short, I was told the pool was backwashed, «shocked» and vacuuned and received an invoice for «pool vacuum».
I had to call another company to treat the pool and turn on the filter, and when the pool cleared up it was still full of leaves and dirt and debris. I called acqua asking for another vacuum since there was a ton of debris in the pool, and again was told someone would calle back. I received a message shortly thereafter saying i’d need to pay for another service because it wasnt within 24 hours of the original service.
So i wrote a long detailed email with a picture attached explaining the situation, and to their credit they came right away to re-​vacuum for no additional charge and called to follow up to make sure it was complete. So they eventually did right but it took a lot of effort from me, and it seems pretty unorganized. The effort after my email to correct my grievance is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.
It’s especially too bad too because I was using this as a way to vet a good long term pool company to install a new in-​ground pool and maintain it. I did find a good company for this new project, and it was the company I called after Acqua didn’t complete my original request.

I would say that this is the best pool company I’ve ever been to. They are always nice to the customers, They are always on time. They have wonderful pools toys that are a little pricy, but it is all worth it. Most pool companies employees are not friendly to the customers, but Aqua Pools employees are. Kids love their pool toys and adults love their pools. I highly recommend this pool company.

We have used acquapools to service our pool over the last year and have been pleased with the service. They are prompt and seem able to quickly solve any problems we have with our pool. They are not the cheapest but we have been through a number of other companies that can never come out when you need them or struggle to get the pool looking great.

Stay away from this company. I had a very bad experience with them that cost me a lot of money. Do your homework and you will understand what I’m saying.
