Unleashed by Petco

Absolutely LOVE this store/​location. The shelves are always fully stocked and it’s super clean. Absolutely a nice environment to bring your dog to.

Great new store! They have clinics every month for low cost shots. I was hesitant to bring my cat here, but it was great. You fill out what shots they are due for, or you can bring them for there first shots as kittens, pay right there on line, get the shot and go. No appointment. It is a licensed vet and vet techs there. You get the same care as a vet, without the waiting room, and a lower cost. Cant go wrong!
In store they carry the higher end animal foods. And also offer self wash dog area.

I have stopped in here a few times to buy dog food when dropping my dog off at his grandparents in Midland Park for the weekend. A very nice, clean store. Prices are normal/​reasonable. It is not crowded, always parking, so it’s easy to get it and out. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

FINALLY FOUND A VERY DECENT FACILITY FOR SELF-​BATHING OUR LAB!
If your not too far from the Midland Park area, then I strongly suggest you consider bringing your dog to the «Unleashed by Petco» store located within the Midland Park Shopping Center, corner of Goffle Rd and Godwin Ave.
Although from the Clifton area, the Petco Clifton store has seen better days and, their pet washing equipment is in need of significant maintenance. After making several calls, I found that the Midland Park Petco location offers «Self Pet Wash» services. It was somewhat of a drive from Clifton, however, note the Pros shown below:
— Newly opened facility.
— More than ample parking out front.
— Clean, well lit aisles and display shelving.
— Patti, the on-​duty manager, was very helpful with getting me started with the bath.
— Absorbent, fluffy towels were rolled up and provided to the customer as well as a bottle of shampoo and grooming tools. (I elected to bring my own oatmeal shampoo.)
— New, correct height dog bath basins with workable entry gate and step stool.
— Pre-​set water temp at the rinse nozzle. The velocity can, however, be adjusted.
— Nice rubber mats where your dog stands in the basin for safety.
— Your choice of either a slip lead or tether for securing your dog.
— The wash basins are in an open area at the back of the store. This eliminates having to contend with a small, closed room where heat and humidity can make for an uncomfortable experience. I found this to be a great plus!
— The cost; $ 10 bucks which was less than what the Clifton store required.
To Patti: when you read this, do not change a thing; thanks for your help and that of other staff in maintaining a clean, neat, customer-​oriented store! I will be back.
