This place is clean but the food is over priced and the service is poor. Don’t spend your money here because Midland has so many good breakfast places. Venture out and stay away from this place.

Quality traditional American cuisine at reasonable prices. Breakfast served all day. Service is always friendly and helpful, but often slow. Servers have too many tables and despite great effort, they can only do so much.

Standard diner with hearty fare; just what I’ve been craving! It was 7am and I was starving! Luckily we were seated immediately and our server, Rebecca, came by quickly to take our drink orders and after she brought those she took our breakfast order. I got the Rise and Shine with sunny-side up eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuits. The food came out quickly and everything was cooked perfectly; especially the bacon which was just the right mix of crispy and chewy for me. I got the hash browns«loaded» which means it comes with cheese, sour cream, scallions, and crumbled bacon. No regrets! It’s a shredded, fried, and loaded baked potato; delicious and even moreso with the salsa that Rebecca offered to bring. She checked up on us a couple of times and refilled my coffee and even offered to get me a cup to go when we asked for the check. Diners are not gourmet restaurants. I got everything cooked the way that I wanted, the price was very reasonable, and the service was efficient and friendly. What’s not to like?

Possibly the worst service I’ve had in a restaurant. Slow to bring drinks. Slow to check back. Took over 30 minutes to deliver food some of which was cold from waiting so long. Waitress complained about having a section with 2 large(6) tables. Manager didn’t even react much when talked to about it. The only one that was trying hard to please was the cashier. The food that was hot was good.

We frequent this location regularly for breakfast. Both service and food quality have diminished over the 10 years we’ve been going here. The portions have gotten smaller and there has been a lot of turnover in staff. There is one particular employee who insists on «high-fiving» you when you pay your bill, which is utterly annoying. I feel that the meals are over-priced for what you get; we’ve gotten much better value at the Boulevard(if you don’t mind the bar-type ambiance!) Midland could really use a nice place for breakfast; the Texan, Big Boy, Shirlene’s, and Li’l Chef all leave much to be desired.

It’s Bob-Evans. What can one say…

Food-wise, this is a typical Bob Evans — lots of average, artery clogging food at fairly reasonable prices. They had a $ 9.99 three course dinner and I got a salad, blueberry bread, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and cookie. For an extra 99 cents, I splurged and got green beans. Funny enough, the green beans were not only from a can but came cooked with onions and ham. Veggies that a vegeterian would have to reject. The service here was OK — the young manager came by to check in at one point — but not particularly friendly. Where’s the joie de vivre? Where’s the warm smile? C’mon Bob Evans, I know you can do better.

I’ve never had a problem with any food here, and it’s always tasted great. Their selection is good, and breakfast AND dinner is good. Three stars for their low-mid grade service. I sometimes get a nice server, but usually it’s careless/inattentive service.

A chain restaurant, of course … This location is uneven. Sometimes it’s really good, especially for breakfast … Other times it’s just fair. Service is usually good and attentive.
