Side selection of good food and beer, however, overpriced. Most staff was helpful, however, the bald ‘gentleman’ that works there was excessively rude.

Love this place. Can find all the specialty foods not carried by the big stores. Friendly and knowledgable staff too.

Really great cheese selection. Knowledgeable and friendly staff the majority of time we visit. Nice selection of other specialty foods as well. The wine, beer, and alcohol selection is great for such a small store. One of our favorite places to go in midland. I only gave it a 4 because some of the prices are a bit high.

Used to b a 5-star review, now much lower because of attitude and prices. They seriously mark up their prices. Last week I got a single bottle of Brooklyn Blast for $ 4.75. Got a four-pack in Lansing for $ 7.60. They also, as of last week, have a Stone Enjoy By 7.04.14 on their shelves for the full price of $ 7.99 — not even reduced, despite clearly being expired. When we asked about it an employee said how he doesn’t see a problem with it because he’s never had a problem with old beer. Insulting and ignorant.

A very wide selection of cheeses you cannot find any where else in the Tri City’s. Really great selection of artisan bread. Excellent crackers and meats. And the best Selection of wine in town, If you have not tried the Moscato D’Asti by Tintero you should.

Nice selection for a small town, but certainly not«remarkable». I think Eastman Party Store must have invented Price Gouging. Coming from a city in California, I would say the wines here are 40% higher in cost. The French Champagne prices are jacked way up here as well. Normally Veuve Clicquot sells for around 35 dollars a bottle, Eastman jacks it to 45.00+ I know the state controls the minimum price of hard liquor, but damn, Eastman manages to jack up the prices that are already artificially high. A cheap bottle of Glen Fid is 35 at most places, 46 here.

The«Needless Mark-up» of Midland party stores, but without the goods. You southern city gals will catch my drift:) However, they do not have much competition locally, so we are at their mercy. How have they gotten away with this price gouging for so long? Most of what they have I could buy at Central Market in Dallas. The wine is ridiculously overpriced. Really! I will say they have an extensive selection of cheese in the deli, as well as a various olives and a nice spicy salami or two.

This is a great store for for anything wine, cheese and specialty meats in Midland. Usually I would give 5 stars, but unfortunately the staff is a little hit and miss. We’ve had great service here as well as awful and rude. Nevertheless, we come back often, as nothing compares to the selection in the area.

Hands down the best place for specialty foods /wines in the midmichigan region. Staff is great & knowledgeable. Hours of operation extensive. We frequent Eastman weekly, sometimes several times in a day when we are making something special. This is a five-star gem. We love this place!!!

One of our very favorite stops in Midland. They have a remarkable selection of wines and beers — we have an ongoing $ 15-and-under wine contest at our house, and we’ve found some great inexpensive wines here.(Although if price is not an obect you’ll find some great expensive wines here too.) We are also fans of the deli counter — a great selection of domestic and international artisanal cheeses, again in a broad enough price range to please many customers. We appreciate being able to find so many ethnic and specialty foods here — living in a tiny rural community north of Midland, it would be very difficult for us to obtain some of those trendy/exotic recipe ingredients if Eastman weren’t around. Most of the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. My advice to local shoppers unused to specialty food stores like this, who may have hesitated to visit Eastman: Don’t be intimidated… ask questions, ask for samples at the deli and have fun.

Outstanding selection of domestic and imported cheeses. They have good turnover and you won’t find cheeses past their prime. Wish the employees at the cheese counter had more knowledge of their cheeses, but the owner certainly does, and I love this place! Eastman also has a nice selection of wine, beer, spirits, and imported foods.

Eastman Party Store has a great selection of wines and beers, including plenty of obscure/hard-to-find beers … which I love. I especially appreciate being able to buy single bottles of beers before splurging on a 4-pack or 6-pack. While I’ve never bought anything from the cheese/gourmet deli counter, I’ve heard great things about it. The only drawback about this place is that I ALWAYS end up buying something!

best wine/beer and cheese selection in Midland. also a good place for herb. If you can’t find a herb or an international ingredients, Eastman party store and Lazeez are your next best bet to go in Midland.(For middle eastern and mediterranean flavor, and asian items, now you can go to Lazeez International market near Kroger(144 Ashman circle)).
