Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This is be far the worst Enterprise location. I reserved a vehicle and when I went to pick it up I was told that my vehicle was no longer available because I did not arrive within an hour of the scheduled pickup time (forced to select one time, not a range of time), I was 2 hours past the scheduled pickup. Nowhere in the reservation agreement did it say I had to pick the vehicle up right at my scheduled time. The employee told me they were like a doctors office and if I was not there right at the time they will give my vehicle away. I asked to speak to the manager (the guy conveniently not wearing a name tag) who told me he has such a large demand for his cars he doesn’t care if I get a vehicle and I can try and find a vehicle somewhere else if I didn’t want to wait for another day to get a vehicle. I do not recommend Enterprise in Midland as they feel they are doing people a favor renting them vehicles, and not providing a service.

The most dissapointing car rental experience in 20-​years. All because calling them/​commmunicating to them in any manner was impossible.
After contacting the Corp. offfie in St. Louis, the manager called me and explained it is the best they can do. Do what you ask?
Road work down the street had not only disconnected comms to Enterprise, but businesses all over. I not only had to spend 2-​hours to return my rental, It took 2-​hrs to NOT pick you up. The night before, a rental service employee told me to call 8am to «Pick you up». In the morning, that started the trend of St. Louis, calls, calls to my boss, only for him to leave a meeting to «pick me up». Now realize I had left for over a week, and this was still going on when I returned my vehicle. You ask yourself. Do you want to do business with a company that believes having some type of communication to insure customer satisfaction is NOT the most important service to the customer? I THINK NOT. yes, you think, why not use a cell phone? Oh that would just be too busy, I was told. Or I believe the answer is, I know that is a poor answer, but isn’t that better than nothing? because that’s what I got… nothing.
Now try to do this when your trying to catch a flight. yeah, you’d miss that one… good luck guys and gals!

I’ve always had a good experience at enterprise. The Midland branch is no exception. Good rates and good service.

Service slow. Never able to get a car the same day. Once I arrived, I waited over half hour for them to get a car ready, and even then, they didn’t have the size reserved available.
WARNING: if you have immediate need of a car or on a time constraint, avoid this branch of Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car. Staff was friendly enough, but resulting service didn’t reflect the same.

Can I give no stars for this enterprise location? By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The rude attitude of both employees working while I was there was beyond compare. I have been an enterprise member for years but will now be taking my business elsewhere. If I wanted a thug mentality I would has gone to south central LA to pick up my rental. Do yourself a favor and do not go to the enterprise car rental in midland.

Worst experience ever. Rude employees! Oh my goodness, the people here are so rude and the policies for debit cards are ridiculous. We tried to rent a car but are responsible enough to shred our bills as we pay them so had no bill to «open a line of credit» with. I was told over the phone it was just to verify address and anything we pay online, such as our insurance or even rent reciept would work. So just in case, we brought reciepts, our leases, paystubs, bankstatements, and the insurance bill, and were turned away because we didn’t have a water bill or electric bill with us! RIDICULOUS! So please be aware that if you are a responsible person who pays your bills and doesn’t own a credit, only has plenty of money sitting in the bank, this won’t matter to enterprise! I called corporate to complain and only got rudeness from them and then they even gave reasons as to why their employees had the right to be rude to US!!! I thought the customer was always right; Not with enterprise, they might pick you up, but they’ll put you down too.
